How strong is strong??

Here's my latest dilemma...

Assuming each person is a female, say about 5'5", works out to Cathe equally and eats clean...

Person A weighs 110 lbs and can do 40 push-ups (big-girl of course) and 15 pull-ups.

Person B weighs 135, can do 25 BG push-ups and 10 chin-ups (with help from the chair)

Person C weighs 175 can do 12 BG push-ups and cannot do any chin-ups

Who is strongest? Or fittest?

Being that Person A only weighs 110, is she really stronger than Person C, being that even though she can do more reps of each exercise, she is lifting/pushing-up 60 lbs less than Person C. Person C must be stronger than Person A in order to do the same amount of reps/exercise, right? And where does person B fit into all of this?

It seems to me the bigger person has to be stronger than the other two. Doing 25 push-ups at 110 pounds would be a hell of a lot easier than 25 push-ups at 175 lbs.

Comments are welcomed and encouraged!

This kind of thing gives me a headache! Exactly the sort of math conumdrum they would shove at us in high school, and I hated them way back then!!!!! i.e. "if a bath is 10 feet long and it takes 6 feminists to change a light bulb, how long does it take to fill the bath?"

That sort of thing....

So, I'll leave it to the others to help you with this one....my brain is full!!!!!

(six feminists to change a light bulb: one to change it, six to form a support group....;-) )

Anyway, it really wasn't meant to be a math question but more of a "philosophical" question, as in "If an exercise floozy falls of a stability ball while doing a pike in the forest, and no one is around to hear it, does she still make a sound?"

LOL!

Well I don't know that the pushup question is fair since some of the body weight is resting on the toes.

But the pullup measurement is a fair one. Also you have to look at height--it's easier for "little" people such as myself to do pullups, pushups, and most exercises for that matter, simply b/c we don't have as far to push or pull. That's why, especially with men, you see so many short people in bodybuilding contests.

Anyway, I'm just rambling now b/c I really don't know the answer to your question. ;-)
