HOW RUDE-vent

i spent HOURS shoveling spots for people that live on this street to park, well myself and another neighbor. then today i shoveled again(b/c they plowed) a spot for dh when he got home from work(our driveway is on a hill and is ice or we wouldn't have this problem). well my neighbor just lets his friends park their cars there WTF! nobody sees him with the snow when it comes to hard work and even dug the guys mom out of her driveway so he can take up the spots.

OH HELL NO. do what we did before the street was plowed,park a block up. if we put in the work you shouldn't reap the rewards!!!

THEN when my car was parked up the road somebody stole my plates so i had to put it back in the driveway now its stuck! i missed all week from work(at school) and might have to miss tomorrow b/c dh and i schedules will be off(he has to be at work early).

just never ends! how can people be so rude?! yet they would be the first to complain of the situations in the society like DUH you add to it. no work ethic but want to just reap rewards of others work. heck no!

i left a note on his car i don't care i have been snowbound,iced bound, in pain from shoveling,broke b/c of no paycheck(they won't let our sector use our sick time to make up for the lost time and we get no snow pay)and now i owe state taxes. one fight with dh away from sitting on the roof with a sniper rifle.

a girl can only take so much and i don't even have PMS!!!

That is SOOO annoying! When I lived in Delaware, there was a story out of Philadelphia where one neighber had shot another because of this very thing!

We are annoyed several times a year due to parking issues. We live in the downtown area of a small town. Several times a year they have craft fairs, live music, art shows, etc. I don't mind that people park in frot of our house or that they use our driveway to turn around. What annoys me is that they park with the back-end of their car overhanging or drive making it next to impossible to reverse out. They also pull up on our lawn when parking. ANNOYING!! We are gonna fix 'em this year. We are going to plant a hedge "fence" along the front yard. Of course, I will probably be more annoyed when they ruin the bushes!!

oh carrie i don't think i would let them off that easy LOL

when i lived in NJ, i lived in a beach town close to the beach. we dealt with the same thing with parking and stuff. cops would ticket or tow them but never learned their lesson. i have gone bold and just started being THAT person and runs out and yells. i swear i am getting old b/c i am starting to sound like the "get off my lawn whipper snappers" but we worked hard for this home and my job is being real a-holes about the pay thing and i hate to fall behind which is putting more stress on me. its just curiosity and respect to think of others. i mean ALL have to live on this planet together.

on top if this kid felt half the soreness and pain i felt he wouldn't have done that. we have some real lazy no personal responsibility in our neighborhood. i have learned to never wait for the city to do something you can try to do yourself. i am actually surprised they even plowed our roads, they last few snows they didn't even bother we did it all.

Why not just wait until they have parked in the space you spent hours shovelling and then quietly let down their tires? A lot less blood to clean up than with the sniper rifle...
