How old is to old ???

All this talk about tatoos and piercings got me thinking .So I wonder if 43 is to old to pierce a belly button !!! ??? I Just might do it ....If my belly just could get a little smaller first LOL. No one but me and Hubby would ever see it LOL !!!!!}( }( }(
 
I'm 41 and if my belly ever gets flat enough, heck I'd do it!! Life's too short to worry about what others think. And if you do get it peirced - show it off, girlfriend!! You should be proud of that body you worked so hard for!
 
I'm almost 39 and I would get a tattoo if my BF didn't so strongly object!! And if I had abs worthy of showing off, I would definitely get a piercing!

I got mine done when I was 33. I say go for it. If you hate it, you just take it out. The beauty of piercings.;)

Be prepared though. They do take a while to heal, and you'll have to wear low rise pants.
 
Yes, I got mine done about 5 years ago and it took well over a year to heal. I loved how it looked but after going on a weekend vacation, the jewelry fell out and the hole grew over! If you do it, just be prepared for the possibly long healing period. But who knows, I've known people who had their's heal very quickly and had no issues with it.
I say go for it.

I got three tatoos when I turned 30 yrs old and wanted a BB piercing. But have never gotten my stomach flat as I want. I am 36 now and if I have a flat stomach by forty, I will get it pierced.

I got mine pierced at 39 (I'm 41 now). My stomach was flatter then, but I've never had washboard abs. I wear subtle jewelry in it and it only peeks out if my shirt rides up or when I'm on the beach. I love it. If you want it, get it!!!

Wow What great responses !!! I will I will I will as soon as my tummy is a little smaller !!! LOL .I do already wear the Low rise jeans (Not to Low) :) :) So I will be ready .LoL Thanks ladies I will let you know when I do it.. shooting for about 3 more months of hard work LOL .... It will be my gift to myself !!! .:)
 
I am soon to be 46 and had my belly button pierced May the 11th. About 50% of the time it is covered. I do show it of, I have some show off shirts and tops... hey why shouldn't I am happy with my accomplishments.... I am 5'2" and weigh 102...

I had mine done at 39. I was suckered into doing it on a bet. It hurt like a mother for 2 weeks I say do it. Keep your clothes low.Now it is like an earing actually my ears bother me worse.
Make sure you do a small stud that won't catch on anything and 14 gage. Straight bars heal easier.Be prepared it is tender. 6 months to heal up totally.
Go for it. If I can do it anyone can. I am a wussss with needles.
