How often/How long do you workout?

Cathlete
My norm is 5-6 days of 60-90plus minutes (depending how long the Cathe workout is) hoping to split up cardio and strength.
Realistically lately, I just finished my Hardcore series workouts (6 of them) and moving onto the infamous Butt & Gutts, Drill Max and will not break till Monday.

Back in the day: My standard workout week was Monday-Thursday, Friday off, Sat AM and Sunday afternoon.

Changes depending on the time of the year and my schedule for that time. But right now I have plenty of time:

Mon - Lower Body weights + Cardio (usually 40-60 min each)
Tue - Upper Body weights + Cardio (usually 40-60 min each)
Wed - Lower Body weights + Cardio (usually 40-60 min each)
Thu - Upper Body weights + Cardio (usually 40-60 min each)
Fri - Cardio (usually 60-90 min)
Sat - Cardio or Cardio/wt combo (usually 30-60 min) (such as HiiT or Afterburn)
Sun - Relaxing (usually 60 min) (such as Stretch, Yoga, Turbo Barre)

I have to do my exercises in the morning or I don't do them!

So, about 90-120min Mon-Tue-Wed-Thur & about 60 min on Fri-Sat-Sun.

I have been averaging 30 minutes a day/6 days a week for about 6 months now.

Prior to that I was doing the STS 6 month rotation which averaged 60+ minutes per day/6 days per week.

Next month I plan to start the STS/LIS 3 month rotation so I will be back to the longer work outs again. I'm very scared as I have been spoiled by the breavity of my current routine. I hope I can get my buns out of bed in time in the morning to get the work outs done so I can get to work on time!!!

Right now, 4-6 days/week, 30-60min. Wish I had more time/energy. A toddler sucks the life out of you! All I really want to do is sit in front of the tv with a big glass of wine and watch Mad Men when she goes to bed..........but I don't;)

In the winter I do more cardio to make up for my inactivity. In the summer I am outdoors ALL DAY playing, walking, biking, hiking, so I focus more on strength training. Gotta show off those arms in the tank top!!!

I've been pretty consistent 45-60 minutes 5-6 days a week.

Sometimes on the weekends I can go all out and pull out one of my longer workouts. Drill Max or Kick, Punch Crunch are ones I like to do on the weekend as well as Burn and Build (Paul Katami). They all run 70 minutes or so I think. If I feel really energetic sometimes I'll add on a short abs routine (like in STS ab circuits or one of my 10 minute solution pilates workouts)

I usually d0 45-60+ min M-F plus hubby and I try to walk 2-3 miles in the evening M-Th and a longer walk on Saturday; although it's hunting season so he's been gone on Saturday mornings, so I've added another workout then.

I work out about an hour and a half to two hours. Usually getting in a good ab workout, a HIIT or cardio of varying lengths and then some strength training. Lately I have been watching some TV and playing the workout videos on my laptop so I can do both. I don't do cardio and a HIIT on the same day of course. I take only Satuday's off.

I don't take a day off on purpose, but about every 10 days to 2 weeks there will be a day that I have something going on where I can't work out or run, so that becomes my rest day.

My usual is 7 days a week I do an hour workout DVD of some sort, plus I run 3 or 4 miles every day. So that roughly translates to 90 minutes a day, 7 days a week.

I workout Mon-Sat. Mon-Fri I workout usually 60-75 min. On Sat, I workout 90-120 min. I rest on Sun. How many days per week I do strength, cardio, or cardio & strength changes from week to week. I like to change it up and follow a different pattern every week just to keep things interesting.

I workout M, W, Th for about 50-60 mins. Then F, Sat and Sun are 90+ minutes of Cathe fun or walking or biking - it depends on the weather.

I usually workout out 6 days a week for 50-75 minutes a day. I generally try to do 60-75 minutes Saturday and Sunday.

Yikes, after reading everyone's posts, I feel like a lazy bum! Doesn't anyone work out just 3 days a week?? (MWF, 45-75 mins per, pretty much always Cathe.) That's me!

ElleJay, your dog is one of the cutest I have ever seen!
