How often do you switch things up?

I've heard that it's good to alternate rotation cycles of heavy lifting to build muscle, with cycles of cardio/muscle endurance workouts to lose body fat. I just finished a month long rotation of heavy weight training with the GS workouts and I am going to transition now to one of Cathe's endurance rotations for at least a month. My question is, how often should I go back to a GS type of rotation?

I switch each week. One week i do endurance/total body/cardio then the next week heavy weight training doing a different body part each day and cardio. That seems to work for me:)

I have to admit that doing these monthly rotations have done wonders for me. I'm not bored and not wondering if I should do upper or lower or a cardio workout. It's right there for me on a daily basis.
