How much cardio with Slow & Heavy?

Hi!

I am planning to do a rotation with the Slow and Heavy series for 4 weeks. I read that doing too much cardio can be detrimental for muscle growth, so how much cardio do I need to do on this rotation? I don't have weight to lose, but I do have a flabby midsection and back fat that I know I can't get rid of without cardio.

I usually do 3 sessions of about 45 minutes each. I think some may recommend 3 sessions of 30 minutes each. Do what works for you and your body!
 
I don't do much when doing S&H - I'll do S&H Mon/Wed/Fri and kickbox T/Th - OR sleep in - seems to help the muscle develop and shed fat amazingly enough.
 
If your goal is hypertrophy, I would suggest that for the time you are on the S& H rotation, you do just two sessions of cardio a week, using a HIIT protocol. Tabata or Tremblay. Tremblay is probably best for burning a little fat.

And if you have Cathe's Boot Camp workout, you can use the 1-minute intervals to do Tremblay protocol HIIT.
