Hi Cathe or anyone who wishes to answer-
I have been reading many books on weight training, as well as, using Cathe's Gym Style DVD's.
I am in the process of changing my workout plan to a more "muscle building" program. Currently trying the pyramid technique (i.e start with light weights 15lbs 10-12 reps, 20lbs 10-8, 25lbs 8-6, 30lbs 6-4, then 4-1 with the heaviest weight).
Is this a good plan for gain muscle mass?
If not, can anyone help me with what is a good/required number of reps and sets to build some major muscle mass.
What I have read to become as strong as you can or reshape an area of your body, lifters perform as many as 20 sets. (i.e. 5 sets each of 4 different exercises that work the same muscle).
Can anyone help me with a good workout plan? I usally do 25 minutes of cardo and 60 minutes of strenght training.
Thank you for any help you can give me,
Sid
