how many of you will use the Firm's step instead of the mini-step?

I have 2 of the 14 inch Firm wooden steps that I've used for years now, and don't really want to buy another step! Are any of you guys using the old Firm step instead of buying the new 14 inch mini step for the new videos?

Just wondering if I'll be the only one or if I really should buy the new step.

Laura

I use my 14" step for Cathe's leg presses in LL and for the sit and stands in PS SL&A. I plan on using the 14" box for the new tapes too. I can't afford the mini step and if I ever do get some extra cash, I'd like to use it on a medicine ball. I think The Firm 14" box works great and since I don't use my Firm tapes anymore, at least the box isn't going to waste!

I will be - I'd rather spend any extra money on the new series since I missed the pre-order, and I don't do Firm tape anymore anyway. I used to doing all the legwork on the 14" box anyway, so there's no reason for an adjustable one. It's also nice for doing PS-BBA where I really don't want to drag out the full size step just to sit on it!

I have 2 of the Firm's 14" steps and I will be using them also. I just need to put some rubber on the bottoms so they won't wobble around on my uneven wood floor.

I don't have the Firm step and I won't be buying the mini step. I just use my Rubbermaid step on top of my regular step.

Oh yes, I'll definitely buy the mini step! I have the Firm 14 inch and the 8 inch as well as the Fanny Lifter but I'll be glad to have one thing (the topper) that can be used for any height I wish. I've wanted one of these for years (and I'm a sucker for the newest thing haha) Does anyone have a clue on how much they'll cost?
Karen :)

I'm right their with you Erica. My rubbermaid step has been multipurpose for a couple of years now.

Thanks guys. I feel much better now.

As soon as I read the signs on the wall that the Firm was going info financial problems (when they sold the company) I stocked up on steps. I love those wooden steps and don't want to give them up.

Thanks for the info. Now I'll exercise with complete confidence knowning I'm not the only one with a weird piece of equipment! :)

I , for sure, will not buy the new step. Major rip off in my opinion. You could just buy more risers and kinda have the same thing. I also have a Rubbermaid Step and that will work just fine for me, thank you....I got enough stuff on my current want list thank you very much..
