How many don't follow a prescribed rotation

OH, I don't follow a rotation either. I just make sure that I get at least 4 days of cardio in and at least 2 days of weights. It just depends on the mood that I'm in for the day as to which workout I'll be doing.

I do my own rotations. I don't do Cathe's rotations or anyone else's rotations because I don't have enough of the Cathe's DVDs or videos and her rotations usually consist of six days a week. Mines are usually three or four (sometimes five) days a week. (Well, that's during the times that I'm consistent, of course.)

I do my own rotations because I can't afford the time needed for Cathe's rotations on the weekdays. My current rotation, which is typical, is like this:

Sunday: 45 mins. treadmill, PLB
Monday: PUB first half
Tuesday: PUB floor work
Wednesday: PLB first half
Thursday: PLB floor work
Friday: off
Saturday: 45 mins. treadmill, PUB

I guess you can call it the Weekend Warrior rotation. Works for me. :)

I have all the intentions of following rotations but...

I never do! Even when I got the Slim Series and P90X workouts. I start out all gung-ho to follow them verbatim, then either I lose complete interest and have the urge to change formats, or an illness or busy schedule pops up and before I know it, it's too late to get back on track. I've been keeping an exercise journal for 3 years so I know what workouts I've done and so I can see the progress I've made, but I just can't stay committed to anything. I think it's because I get bored easily. And the thought of doing the same workout more than twice a month fills me with dread!

I have a pattern, but I don't really do rotations. I alternate between some type of weight workout (which for me can be circuit) and an all cardio workout (either kickboxing or step), with abs on most days. When I can, I workout three days on, one day off. I really mix up my workouts a lot, and I have found that I have lost weight since doing this (without trying to!). I used to get hooked on particular workouts and do them over and over, and my muscles became habituated to them. Now that I mix it up more, I 'surprise' my muscles all the time.

I don't follow a rotation. I just make sure that I do weights at least 1x/week. I love doing cardio so I usually do that about 5-6 times per week.
