How long and how often do you workout

Cathe, I have read that you workout much longer when taping a series due to rehearsals, but on a noraml week how often do you workout. I mean days per week and lenght of time. Also if you teach that day do you workout additionaly. Thanks you!!! Karen
 
Hi Karenvictoria! How are you?

My schedule varies based on daily commitments. Somedays the class that I teach is my only workout for the day and sometimes I am able to add to it. I like to get 4 to 5 days in, sometimes a 6th day. I like to get 4 to 5 cardio a week in (varies between 30 to 60 minutes in length). I like to get all major muscle groups worked out at least one time per week. I stick that in where I can. Before kids, I had a much more regimented schedule. Now, like most moms, I have to make it work when I can fit it in. But the rewards are significant in other ways now too. Life is good:)
 
Thanks so much for answering me. I am a busy mom of three girls and a homeschooling mom. It just feels good to know that I am in the same company as you and other mom's trying to fit it all in. I just wanted you to know how you have inspired my life. I really mean that. Thank you . Karen
 
Wow Karen! My hats off to you...3 girls and homeschooling? You are VERY busy and I commend you for still making fitness a priority. Good for Karen:)

I am glad to see I am not the only mom with limited time for workouts. I am a physician and work part time, my days off are truly devoted to my kids. Sooo, I find myself trying to squeeze workouts in at 5 am before work. I read about people who are able to get in 90 minutes of workout time and it is just not possible for me. It is good to see amazingly fit person like you enjoying all the aspects of their life! :) :D
