Cathe is the best! I had a personal trainer 3 years ago who got me in really good shape until i couldnt aford him any more. I just started Cathe a little less then a year ago and i have to say I look better now doing Cathe's videos then I did with a personal trainer!

Well, let's all give Cathe and staff a big group hug for helping us all out!

It is so awesome to hear everyone's thoughts about the Cathe form!
I vote for all of the above too because I have some great new weirdo friends (yes that's you Michele), am much more aware of my eating, and I am starting to get in really good shape thanks to Cathe and all my great new weirdos, I mean friends!

Yeah Cathe!!!

Let Me Count the Ways!!!

How have I been blessed by Cathe’s forums? All of the above and then some. I have only been a member for a little over a month, and the time I have spent here has already been one of the best investments I have made in my fitness journey. I have been blessed to meet this warm and supportive group of like-minded fitness friends. The check-ins keep me focused and accountable. The support and encouragement I receive here are priceless treasures. There is a wealth of information available in the archives. It is nice to have a place where I can ask for advice on choosing new DVDs and find what works for me. Where is the option on this poll for helping me spend more money?! ;)

Last, but certainly not least, I have discovered in my short time here (with Cathe’s help) a place of balance and moderation with my workouts. I was overtraining without realizing it. I was planning a good rotation then adding as much extra cardio as I could stand. I was working out for 2 hours at a time doing double workouts like IMAX2 + Boot Camp and Step Blast + Kick, Punch, & Crunch as well as a super tough cardio boot camp class at the club after work that kept me anaerobic the whole time. I was also burning out and struggling with what I was trying to do. I hit a wall with my weight and could not seem to get beyond a sticky plateau. I kept playing around with the same few pounds instead of seeing lasting change. All I knew to do was push myself harder and exercise longer and more often. I joined Cathe’s forums last month and posted a message to her. She encouraged me to take a break from the ultra advanced and start a more moderate rotation, and I took her advice. After seeing the rotation Cathe suggested for me, I dropped down to once a day with a total rest day once a week. After 2 weeks, I was 5 pounds lighter and one size smaller. I am now 5 weeks into my rotation with a full rest day every Friday, and I am 10 pounds lighter so far. Needless to say, I am delighted that I do not have to wear myself out to see results. I also love and look forward to my rest day every week now. Aside from being smaller, I look beautiful now! My skin is radiant and glowing. My eyes are sparkling. My hair looks healthier. My dark circles have faded. I am bursting with energy, and my emotions are more stable. I am not crying all the time for no apparent reason. It is my desire to live fit and free, not in bondage to diet or exercise or anything else. Finding a place of balance is a direct result of my time here. I am such an all-or-nothing girl with a real tendency to go to extremes. I never would have dreamed of basically cutting my workout time in half and seeing better results. Balance and moderation. I never imagined that those words would ever apply to me. I was not expecting Cathe’s response, but I am so grateful. I did not tell mention how much exercise I was doing (or overdoing) in my original message to Cathe and did not request a rotation from her, but I am so glad she took the initiative and posted one. Seeing what she thought would be a good game plan for me at my current weight and fitness level was a lightbulb moment for me that led to a major breakthrough.

Love and thanks to Cathe and everyone here for sharing the journey with me. :)

Blessings,
Heather B.

Fitness and health is one component of life, and these forums are all about life in total. I'm always learning new things from you all, I know I'll get really good answers and solutions when I post, and I don't know how many times I've quoted "you." (Though I find it hard to explain the source!) Thanks everyone ...:)

I can say that Cathe is my "lifestile" now...:D I don't know if it makes any sense to you.But everything that changed for good in my life in the last year was either inspired by her,or consequence of her advices, workouts and exemples. We all love u Cathe!:7

I voted for other because you guys have helped me in so many ways. Just listening to me ramble on and on about Gizmo and about Alzheimer's lately and sending such great responses my way have been invaluable.

I get motivated to work out even if I don't feel like it. All I have to do is hop on the forums and I'm working out before I know it. I've just learned so much from all of you and that says a lot since I've been working out for at least 25 years and I've subscribed to just about every fitness magazine at one time or another.

Thanks to you all!

Susan
