How do you use your mp3 player while workout?

Ok, my question might sound silly.

Thanks to the ladies in this forum, I bought itread set 1 and set 2. It kept me going in treadmill, and pushed myself. However, I ran into problem to keep the ipod nano in place while I was running in the treadmill. I would like to know how your ladies use it?

I tried to let it rest in the treadmill consol. But when I picked up the pace running, my hands somehow touched the handset wires and sent my ipod flying out. I tried to hold it in one of my hands, it is kind of annoying holding things running. I would like to know how you can keep the wire out of your way but ipod player sits securely somewhere.

Thanks

I don't have an I-Pod, just a less expensive MP3 player, and I bought a cell phone holder that has a clip on it for clipping on a belt. I clip it right on the waistband of my sweatpants, It stays on fine.

My favorite running shorts have a pocket and I keep the mp3 player (shuffle) in there. I also run the headset wires up my back to keep them out of the way of my pumping (flailing) arms.

I use an armband. I have 2 different ones. One of them is like this (I have an older generation iPod Nano, so it's not this exact one):

The other one is an armband that fits the iPod Nano with the Nike+ attachment:

They both work great. I like that the SportSuit one can be worn on the wrist, which makes it easier to control the iPod (because you can see the display). The other armband doesn't tighten far enough to be worn on the wrist, so you have to actually wear it on your upper arm.

Thanks ladies.

Andrea, I like your idea run the wires from back.

I use a shuffle that clips on to my clothing and is so small and lightweight I sometimes have to search down the earphone cords to find it when I want to hit a button. They don't hold as much memory-wise but they're much cheaper and very user-friendly. Of course, that doesn't help if you want to know how to use your nano--just wanted to put a plug in for my cute little shuffle.

I bought a belt online to put mine in. It's kind of like what you see a fitness instructor put his/her wireless mic in and it works very well.

Hi, Jill,

Can you show me the website you bought the belt?

Thanks

I have an armband. I got it on e-bay with a house charger for 6 bucks plus 5.95 shipping. Can't beat it..
I just refused to pay 30 bucks for an armband when my ipod video was like 328. bucks.
I think it should have come with one...
