How do you get Cathe's Post-Baby Abs?

I am looking to have children within the next yr. I always here horror stories of how the stomach is saggy and it never goes back to were it was before. Cathe has had children...how do we get her incredible abs? I'd even take the kind of abs that aren't 6 pack, but just not saggy baby belly abs.

Any advice?
 
You know what is crazy about Cathe's abs... if you look at the Intensity Series videos - they were produced I believe when her youngest son was around 6 months old... How crazy is that!!! :) She looks awesome even then - so that gives hope and inspiration for sure...


I have two kids and it didnt really take that long to get your stomach to go down... a few months maybe...
 
Wow! Thanks for posting the link. It's been 30 years since I had my DS. Wonder if it's still possible for me to get great abs.
 
Personally, I had lipo and wish I never had.

It was a complete waste of money and time.

I think exercise and diet are the key factors.
 
Hi Mrsprincess07! You can get your abs back after your first baby rather quickly compared to the babies that follow....but as long as you eat clean and workout hard, they will still come back. They might not have the exact same shape (the waist sometimes gets a bit wider) and the skin around your abs may change (may have some loose skin and stretch marks) but you can still get back to your prior level of fitness, see a six pack if you had one prior to baby, and even get quite lean again, again, as long as you focus on eating well, exercising consistently, and somewhat intensly.

Keep in mind that every situation is unique and you have to keep a realistic outlook on what you have and don't have control over.

Some people are genetically more prone to stretch marks and you can't really change that but if you aim to gain only the healthy amount that you should your abs will not stretch out as far (unless of course you are having twins or triplets).

Some women come back to even better shape then before they had kids because they are so determined to get that baby weight off that they train harder then they ever did before.

Regardless of your situation, everyone can eat well, train hard, and make a huge difference in their post baby appearance if they are willing to work at it.

Thanks so much to everyone for answering my question! I checked out the pics of Cathe while pregnant and WOW in 6 onths back to pre-baby!!!

I have about 8-12 months to get into great shape! It is very helpful to know that I'm not destined to be over-weight or out-of-shape simply because I'm a mom! Thanks again every...and this is even more of a reason to build up my Cathe Collection!

Thanks Cathe for awesome In-home DVDs!I finally now can get into great shape without ever having to step foot into a gym! You Rock!
