Can someone expalin what I am doing wrong it seems that I always tend to do a richocet instead. Is there an easy way to explain. I'm so confused. Thanks in advance for ayour help!!!

Up/back like in All Step?

I'll tell you what I think, but I can't promise I'm right!!! :p

With a richocet, you're bringing the shoulder around and facing IN toward the step. If you step on with the right foot, you'll tap over with the left foot. As you're turning, the left shoulder goes over the step and your body turns to the right side wall, you tap with the left foot and return.

With the up/back, you face OUT away from the step as your shoulder comes around. If you step on with the right foot, you'll tap with with the left foot, but as you're turning, it's your right shoulder going over the step. You turn toward the left side wall and end up facing the back wall as your left foot taps and then return.

So they're basically the same except the direction in which you go over, an outside turn or an inside turn.

I hope that made sense. Is there anyone else who can clarify that a bit?

thank you for your replies. Tammy you expalined it well. It seems easy now I kept doing the richocet. I can't wait to try it now. I think it is also in the cardio hits dvd with stepworks. Now maybe I won't get so discouraged. Thanks you both soooooooo much!!!:7
