I'm so glad others don't feel like working out during kids' naptime either! People tell me "Just work out when they're napping" but I try to explain, after I get them down I want to go down too! This is why I get up at 5:00 am and do my workouts. Only like I mentioned, doing cardio at that hour is so hard for me so lately I've ended up doing it during naptime, and then I am pooped and then they wake up. But I actually like doing weights at 5:00 am - slow and methodic (unless it's power hour!). So I'm not crazy after all
