How do you behave when you workout with Cathe?

Oh, just behave...leave your ego at the door please!!!!
This is just for fun...

For me, I love the oblique workouts and all kind of ab workouts. I love KPC and lower body workouts make my legs shake at times, but I must say that I act like a baby when it comes to anything that has to do with shoulders...I scream, yell or just say, "uh, uh", but I end up doing them anyways thru all the whining.
I tell Cathe she is "crazy" or a "crazy woman", but it is all in good fun! She kicks my butt everytime!

Anymore?

Charlotte~~

I'm like Cedie. I'm constantly whooping and whoo-hooing and uh-huhing. And during tough weights segments or core segments I yell "OW OW OW". I also talk back. Like she'll make comments as she does and I make sarcastic comments back.

Cathe: "These guys are breathing back here - should they be?"
Me: "Well, if they weren't breathing they'd be DEAD now wouldn't they?"

Stuff like that. My b/f just looks at me like I'm insane and the cat hides.:)

When I do the IMAX's I tend to yell at her a bit. My son actually asked me today who I was talking to! Also when doing bicep work and shoulder work I grumble and moan. When doing Rythmic step,I smile and laugh a lot. KPC usually gets me during the drills, my arms get tired and I get grumpy!! ;-) Susan

Shelley- Oh yeah, I know what you mean. I hate it when Cathe says, "did you feel that". So yeah, I talk back too. I have alot of windows in my home and so it is o.k. if someone sees me talking to the TV..what do I care???

Charlotte~~

I don't really do anything except the workout. I do laugh when doing the 9th interval of Imax2 because the music is fun, and the interval is so hard. DD and I always laugh at Cedie's bounciness in MIC.

I have been known, occassionally, to blurt the f-bomb when the coast is clear (meaning, no little ears about) and I'm doing the 3rd kick interval in KPC.

I will say things like "Oh yeah, right!" when she is doing something that I can't do or that I don't think I'll be able to do...wether it be with weights or a tricky step combo or something. When she is doing weight work she can tend to move very quickly between exercises so I will "yell" at the tv for her to slow down...as if she can hear me! lol

Have a great work out!

In ME, when she's doing those biceps curls with the 20 lb. barbell and gives that wicked laugh, I always want to scream and call her a B---H!! But I don't because my kids are within ear shot.

I can't say anything because it's like laughing, it makes me lose my strength! Ocassionally, you may hear me go "eep" but that's about it.

You ever notice the guy in the back during the Boot Camp workout who seems to quit before Cathe does during one of the segments? I call him a "cheater" LOL

Charlotte~~

>Wendy- I am ALWAYS telling Cathe to slow down. Gosh, she is
>soooo fast and doesn't waste a second!
>

I know! I always have the dvd remote handy to press pause at the drop of a hat so that I can catch up! lol

ETA: ESPECIALLY NOW! When I am doing weight work where she is on the bench, I am on my "home made" incline and I have to pause every time she gets up so that I have the extra time to "roll off" my incline and get to my feet! It takes me an awful long time to do this! lol

Have a great work out!

Hello everyone,

In HSTA doing hover squats and Cathe says, "stay down there don't get up" I use to look at her and say, "Yeah right, you stay down there" or "you have got to be out of your mind"

PUB: it's those damn trad curls they are no joke, hammers are ok. I'll probably say something like, "What the hell or "awwwww Sugar Honey Ice Tea or simply "damn" my daughter says Cathe's a Beast.

ME: that wicked laugh gets me every time. When she uses the bar for biceps, I have to use the bicep curl machine????

Cathe's got a thing with biceps.

I smile and laugh with her doing Low Max}( }( }( .

Ya'll are so funny!! I do the exact same thing as everyone. I whoop, call her crazy, and when she asks are you ready, don't answer-just get on up there-Oh, I'm saying stuff!!!

i talk/answer cathe back... and i yell at her (can call her names *gasp*!)

cute work out clothes are good for AT LEAST an additional 10-15 calories burned!

I'm always muttering "wait, hold on, slow down". Especially since I just completed an S&H rotation - by comparison, EVERY other Cathe strength workout seems to be in warp speed.

And though it drives me insane, nuts and just plain batty in the gym, I'll let loose a couple of loud grunts and "ugh!"s on the last rep of a tough exercise (usually biceps). Hey, it's the privacy of my own home!:p

Something to think about since I did just finish. I think I talk to myself in my head. Tell my body you can do this. Then I wished she were at my home gym and would see what it's like looking for plates to put on and get the clamp and then get in place again. I'm blowing up by then,

I normally just follow along, but with the new Gym Styles, especially when doing chest, I say, "Oh no, you don't," whenever it's time to do another set of presses or flyes, and I need another couple deep breaths. And then I find myself cheering me along: "Okay Pinky, you CAN do two more. It's only TWO!" (I swear, the voice that comes out of me is my mom's.:) )

Sometimes my son comes in to watch, and I'm huffing and puffing while doing biceps or shoulders, and I say, "This woman is killing me." And my son points to the TV and says, "Hey lady! Stop killing my mom!" I just have to stop at that point because I'm laughing so hard. I tell my son that it's okay, that it's actually a good thing, so I can be stronger.
