I know--I'm a freak!
I can't help it. I'm actually the biggest women in my family. Crazy. I thought I wrote about Ryan's birth in another forum. Sorry. Here goes:
Tuesday, 21 April: Worked a full day and trained two clients that night.
10 pm: Last bathroom stop and felt a little "pop" once I got into bed.
10:15 pm: Called the hospital and went to have everything checked.
11pm: 1/2 cm dialated, 100% effaced.
Wednesday, 22 April:
3am: 1/2 cm dilated, 100% effaced. Given analgesic for pain.
6:30 am: woke. Still no progress.
9am: 2cm dilated, 100% effaced. Given another analgesic for pain. Told would have to enduce and given epidural
12pm: told DH to go home and get some sleep. 2cm dilated, 100% effaced.
3pm: Given epidural. Still no progress.
3:50 pm: Given oxytocin.
4:20 pm: 4cm dilated. 100% effaced
4:30 pm: Told DH to get to hospital
4:40 pm: 10cm dilated. 100% effaced.
4:50 pm: into delivery room
5:20 pm: started pushing. Pushed 8 times total.
5:52 pm: Ryan's born! Yeah!
Laura's results are ATYPICAL. Sorry, Laura.....but that won't happen to most women,....even women who consider themselves fit.
