Housewives of NJ, what did ya think?

So anyone else catch last night's episode of Housewives of NJ. I'll be honest, I was a little bored, but it is just the beginning, and I am interested to see how it all progresses. I don't have any immediate strong dislikes or preferences for anyone yet, the one Vegas girl seems really sweet. Names will take me a while to learn. I hope they don't focus too much on the kid with the audition, I never like seeing too much of the kids in these shows, just a personal thing I guess. And I get only slightly annoyed that they use the shows to launch their kids careers.

Let's see my only catty comment right now, is what is with all the lip liner? I thought that overly lined look was over by a few years now? I think the nicest one of the group, is very cute, and all that makeup sort of sits on her face and just detracts from her looks. And just a note, I love makeup, even my "natural" look takes a lot to achieve! But they are just so heavily made up, it's weird.

Any other thoughts/comments yet?

I DVRed it and watched it. I was totally bored too. I actually fast forwarded through quite a bit of it. So far the people aren't really interesting to me but that may change.

I had DRVed it also. I tried to watch it today but couldnt get into it at all.

I already really dislike the divorced women. And I know it's catty, but she looks like she had too much cosmetic surgery. Very unattractive. (that's not why I don't like her, though..she just kinda grates on my nerve.)

Ok, so it wasn't just me, I sure hope these ladies become more interesting and fast, I got so addicted to NY in this latest season, and I was psyched I would have more of this nonsense to watch, but I guess we'll see what happens.

Another vote for boredom here.....yaaaaaaaaaaaawn! It better pick up soon but it may already be too late for me. It's mostly about money, money, money and more money. So far, I can't see myself having much interest in any one of them. Bring me back my New Yorkers!!!!!!

I found it boring myself, although I do enjoy watching these women since they're practically neighbors. They really are your typical new-money Italian NJ family! OMG that new house w/all that marble & granite--I'd bet a month's salary she covers her sofas w/plastic.

Also fun to see some of the places I've been, like the Highlawn where that freak took her little boy date. Yeah, I don't like her at all--Joanna I think is her name? I mean, I'm all for cosmetic procedures but this lady has way overdone it. And I cannot believe she'd date a boy 20 years younger. Sorry, but she's nothing but a ho in my book.

I don't think I'm gonna much like Dina either--the youngest sister. Even her intro line--"if you think I'm a b*tch, bring it on"--that's just a challenge as far as I'm concerned. And she told Joanna she was gonna "kick her a$$" or something to that effect.......watch out Janice Soprano! LOL! If I see her in the Short Hills Mall I think I just might bring it on!
