Holiday 40's +

Hi all. Did LIHI legs today. It was good, doable, but definitely something I have to work up to. I need to go light with weights otherwise I burn out. When you guys get your discs, let me know if the LIHI legs premix w/ abs 2 has the stretch included. It was supposed to, but after the abs, it went to the credits. I will try it on another unit but wanted to check with others first.

Mary - sorry to hear about the tooth. I hope you are feeling better. I have to get to the dentist. I have a cavity and have had it for some time. I may need a root canal now. :-(
Ronne - glad the back is feeling better.
Lisa - glad to hear you were able to do the workout w/o any neck problems. I know how it feels to be able to do something you used to not be able to do.
Roxie - glad work is going well.
Waves to Jody and Sheeree.

Hi everyone! Sorry to be MIA. I've become even more sporadic as I work more night shifts and I stay in survival mode for now. Mary, ugh! another tooth? jeesh. sorry about that. Does the jessica smith app sort the workouts for you? It sounds interesting. So much choice is not always better for a procrastinator like me. Lisa, yea for your closing date! Just think, you will have your workout space back. Murphy, I don't have my workouts yet, but lol, I'd never notice if a stretch wasn't included. Ronne, how long will it take for you to get the workouts? Is streaming going to become an option for you at some point? Roxie congrats on the job and things working out. Are you still doing the school? I did KCM PB on Fri and loved it, it was perfect. I've done a few other Cathe's lately, not sure what is up for today but I am trying to do metabolic and heavy. Clean up, straighten up and errands and shopping and FAFSA w/ kid on tap for today too. I am thinking about a rebounder and a juicer, too. Good thing I'm working.

Edited to say I did BM2 this week- if I was stranded on a deserted isle w/ one workout, I think that would have to be it, so versatile. Today was LIC and I think I did some CF, earlier w/ few body parts from GS. I agree in advance w/ Roxie.

PSS, wow the new rotation RWH look great. I like the getting started w/ rwh and the rwh xt cf ttm.

Good Evening,

Back home after being gone all weekend not workout today family dinner. I haven't decided whether to do Cathe's Dec 08 timesaver rotation or continue with KCM because even the timesaver workouts are over 45 minutes.

Jody-no on the school thing I am now full time at the pharmacy. I am not getting paid on time from the school.

Hi everyone

Murphy - ooh, lucky you, you've got your disks! Enjoy them and report back.

Jody - good to see you. Sounds like you're super busy so well done for getting any workouts in at all. Hope your DVDs come soon (and that you've got some time to do them!). If I'm lucky I might get them before Christmas, if not it will be early January. I'm hoping I can start a rotation with them to kick off the New Year. I had a quick look at the pdf and there are some great rotations in there.

Roxie - is it a bit more difficult to fit workouts in now you're working?

Hi to Mary and Lisa, have you both got the new series?

DH was away this weekend, so I did a lot of driving DD around to stuff. We managed to get in some Christmas shopping on Sat, she got all her presents bought.
I did GS C&T yesterday. It felt really good to go back to a straightforward lifting DVD. Today was 30/30, I was gasping by the end!

Hi everyone! I only walked Sat, then I got the downloads so I did RwH LI1 on Sunday (and dog walk). She moves FAST, I kept up sometimes, sometimes not. I like the jumping jacks version, I've kind of been doing a similar one for my modifications, oh I did bonus abs 2 also. Today I did RwH Back/Bi/Shoulders. I lifted heavier than I have been since I figure I have a massage tomorrow so why not test my limits...so far so good, still no where near what I was lifting, but I'm getting there, though I will never lift as heavy as I did or as Cathe, but that is ok by me, I'm just happy to be lifting with no pain!

Ronne, now my lower back has been hurting! I think I'm over doing it with the TENS. My massage therapist can confirm tomrrow and tell me 'I told you so'. If you are gasping with 30/30, just wait for RwH!

Jody, you are still alive! Oh I'm counting down the weeks, I can't wait (I think the kids are ready too). The bonus abs 2 had that ab exercise we did on RT (I did more than I did on RT, and no neck pain, knock on wood), but the straight leg still doesn't go too straight and I can't get the rhythm down (I think because I'm trying to protect my neck). There was lots I didn't do as I didn't want to push it too much with moves I know used to cause pain. Maybe when you get RwH you'll be checking in more :)

Murphy, so you did the leg workout in RwH? I still have DOMS in my hammies/glutes from XT legs, go figure! Could be I'm not stretching AS MUCH but I still stretch.

Mary, you would DIE if you saw my messy house, I'm doing nothing as it just doesn't pay with all the things I have to move and DS coming with his dog and DS living here. Oh my, if you saw the dust!

Roxie, awesome about pharmacy being full time, it's close too, right? You'lll get a schedule down with your workouts, give it time.

Did RWH Low Impact 1 w/ abs - no stretch again. ??? I tried it in another unit and it did not work on that one either. Besides the stretch issue, I enjoyed the workout. It moves fast but is doable - eventually. ;-)

Jody - glad to hear from you. Congrats on getting workouts in.
Roxie - have you decided on a rotation?
Lisa - how are the legs? Still sore?
Ronne - there are some really good rotations in there. I am really happy that she did rotations including XTrain, the LIS and STS. She also included TTM and CF. There are some really nice options.
Mary - so I called the dentist about my tooth. I don't have any more sick time and they are booked solid - I have to wait until next year. I made appointments for all of us in February (yes, February). DH was supposed to make the appointments way back in the summer but you see that never happened. UGH!

Good Evening,

another long day went to work at 8:30 and got off at 6:15. I did KCM Bootcamp Cardio instead in place of Drillmax and 30 pushups. Sounds like the new workouts are fun.

Ronne-I am trying to get up early to workout.

Murphy-I am going to do Cathe's Dec 08 Timesaver Rotation.

Lisa-the pharmacy I work at is 15 minutes from my house.

Hello

Roxie - I couldn't do that ... I'm not good in the morning. It's great that work is so close to you though.

Murphy - are you going to do a rotation?

Lisa - now you're making me nervous about RWH. Would you say RWH BBS is similar in intensity to GS?

Did GS BSB today. It's time to get out the fingerless gloves, the temperature has really dropped here. Resisting putting the heating on so far ...
I won't be around tomorrow, I'm off to London to see friends/family. Eating out and present handovers. May do a bit of shopping, see how I feel.

Hi girls! Yesterday did a Chris Freytag workout, today I'm going to try one of the new ones, I think a weight one. Ronne, have fun in London! We leave Friday, just trying to organize everything. Murphy, February? That's crazy! I think what's wrong with me is my original fillings are failing ! Jody, do you work nights only or do you have to flip flop shifts? That's hard! Roxie, you got full time? That's incredible! Lisa, there's an end coming! You can start counting the days! Well, better get off my fanny! Have a good day! Mary

Hi all. Did RWH LIHI C/T/S. It moved fast and the finishers were really sneaky of Cathe. They do get you. I am so loving this series. Running late as usual.

Ronne - I am doing the starting with RWH rotation.
Mary - you are going to London? Have a great time.
Waves to all.

Murphy

Hello! Today did LIHI legs, went fast! Yesterday did the back, delts and bis, that moved fast too! Murphy, we are going to Vegas, Ronne is going to London! Hello to everyone else, hope all is well! Mary

Good Morning,

I don't have to go to work until 1 today and its amazing how fast the morning is going, I wanted to clean house since I have to work Saturday morning but thats not going to happen. I did BM2 Upper Body Wts and Abs.

Mary-one of the girls she hired 4 days before me is quitting she just can't handle it so I am taking her place.

Happy Hump day! I never made it here yesterday, I did do RwH piyo 1--- lots of modifications, and too many burpees...this one may go into the 40/20 pile. I did a short dog walk, sun hasn't been out but finally today it came out and it was glorious! I had my massage, I over did it on my lower back with the Tens, so waiting for that to get back to not hurting (i knew to only do 30 min but it felt so good and i thought it was such big muscles they could take 60 min, whoops!). Today I did 35 min of spinning and a long dog walk since the sun is out!

Mary, what is LIHI legs? is that the RwH one? I think it is. I need to get my back straightened out before I attempt more leg workouts with Cathe. Kicking myself for being stupid. I knew you were going to Vegas :). It's your annual trip, right? I think both us and DS are counting down the days! Hopefully once they move out I;ll get in a groove with the house and yard (I hate all house and yard work though and I'm finding I do less of the things I don't like as I get older :)

Murphy, the finishers are interesting! I like the finishers on the back/shoulder workout, so much helps the areas I need help with and one is exactly what I did in PT (and hated)....I think that's why I was a little bit ouchy at my massage in that area, but still no where near as bad as I was, so grateful!

Ronne, I feel less excited about the new workouts than everyone else, not sure why. I like the UB lifting I've done so far.....the cardio parts are going to be hard for me, but I'm used to doing what I can and not sweat being perfect. It's better to try and move than obsess and give up that I can't do some of the things. I do like the shorter workout times! When I add a long dog walk to an hour long workout it makes for a LONG workout session! Enjoy London! DH had an opportunity to go to Scotland, we declined, only had a week of prep time....my ticket would have been way too expensive. I'm missing that man more and more when he goes out of town, maybe after 20 years of him traveling I'm just tired of it. But since he's the money guy I just try to be supportive.

I've rambled on long enough, everyone enjoy their day!

Lisa, I think these new work outs are really high impact! I think I will use the low impact one, the 2 upper body ones, the leg one I did today. The circuits I previewed might move too fast for me, also the plyo hiit looked hard! So, I will use some of them, but certainly not all!

Hello

So, I'm getting the impression that this new series moves very quickly. Hope I can get my water breaks in!

Mary - Have a great time in Vegas!

Murphy - I really want these DVDs!

Roxie - so you're full time now? That's great news.

Lisa - oh, you should have gone to Scotland. It's beautiful! I'm sure you'd love it. I like the sound of the shorter workouts, although the pace is worrying me a bit! DH is doing a bit of travelling at the moment as well, but not for long periods.

Had a nice day in London yesterday. Went to a lovely French patisserie for lunch - I had the most gorgeous cake, full of cream, chocolate mousse and the pastry was the best I've ever had!
Then we went to a gallery and had a mooch around. I met up with a friend for drinks and dinner (I just had noodle soup!) and got home about 11.30.
Did X10, X37 premix. I can promise you I will never do more than two segments of that workout!
On the gymnastics run tonight. I might have to drive a large Mercedes, a courtesy car that DH has got while his car is being repaired. Not too keen on that, I don't like big cars!

Hello! Today did RWH CS&T, I really liked it. Ronne, sounds like the perfect day! I have to admit I don't pull out X10 very often! Lisa, did you see on of the workouts has one armed burpees???? Jody, you must be a working fool! Roxie, are you enjoying the new job? Do you like the people you work with? Murphy, have you tried any other new ones? Well, we leave tomorrow, probably won't be back here til next week. I'm going to give the low impact Hiit a try in the morning. Have a good week everyone! Mary

Rwh legs done. Dog walk later. Yea Mary, that's on plyo1,she did them on RT. Yuck. Ronne, that French pastry sounds yummy! Hoping DH makes if home today, may be delayed and miss his connection because of the noreaster (he's near buffalo, NY

Good Evening,

I didn't get up and get a workout in before work and to tired to do it now. My boss specializes in hormones and therapy so she had me feel out some paperwork to hopefully help me with headaches and my energy levels.

Mary-I am enjoying the new job and I learn something new everyday and yes I like the people I work with in fact DH and I are going to the company christmas party.

Hi all

GS Legs done. Got to do some cleaning as we've got someone coming to stay this evening. Planning to buy the Christmas tree on Sunday and put up the decorations. Also hoping to get my last bits of Christmas shopping done. I've still got quite a few people to buy for!
