Hip Hop…

Okay guys I haven’t lost it :7 :7 But, I want to buy a workout that teaches me how to dance, now ladies you know. Teaches how to get low, dirty and nasty (sexy with it tho) teaches you how to really shake your assets :p :p Move and grove, you feel me :)

Anywho, I was looking through Collage catalog and noticed Juliane Arney’s 'Gone Hip Hop' workout. I could only view the workout for 1 minute and what I saw I liked. Me, I love to dance, but when I think about it I haven’t dance in a while.

Where as I use to put on music and just work it :) I guess I need to learn some up to date moves. Don’t get me wrong now, girlie do have some rhythm :D but needing a little help to shake things up a bit.

Now, too me question, has anyone heard on her? Or can anyone recommend another dance video. If you would like to view the workout here’s the link.

I have always like MTV's The Grind. It is really fun and I feel really cool when I do it, even though I am sure that I look like a disaster. I have heard really good things about Paula Abdul's Get Up and Dance, or Shutup and Dance, I can't remember what it is called.

Paula Abdul's Get up and Dance is a lot of fun. She builds up the dance sequences slowly and then you get to go fast. I find in terms of intensity it's intermediate if you push yourself.

If you find a good hip hop tape tell us about it. I'd definitely like to add a challenging hip hop tape to my workout rotation.

Julie Arney also have Quick Fix Cardio Hip Hop. This DVD is broken down into 3 10 minute Hip Hop routines. If you do the whole thing all together, it's actually a pretty decent workout and you learn some fun dance moves. I am tremendously funk impaired and manage to feel somewhat hip when I do this workout. Best of all, it's not that expensive!

Jennifer Galardi has Crunch Fat Blasting Dance Party. This is a litte different in that it has 3 different dance styles: salsa/latin, funk/hip hop, and disco! I still really like it! And once again, not that expensive.

Altheatized by Althea Lawton ???? (I forget her last name). This DVD is a great combination of some traditional cardio moves (like grapevines) and funky, dance moves. She throws in so much fun funk attitude into the moves, you can't help but get a groove on and smile the whole time.

HTH!
