Good morning Cathe and anyone else who can help. I have arthritis in my knees and I was wondering if anyone had hints for how I can still achieve good cardio results and work my legs without making my pain worse.I have about 5 lbs I want to lose and I know Cathe works.:)

Nancy, Hi! It is so funny that you posted this. I recently (as of 3 weeks ago) found out I have osteoarthritis in my right hip. I have had to do some major modifications to the Cathe workouts I was previously doing. I used to perform tons of high impact Cathe cardio on practically a daily basis. I would use the premixes to make my cardios. Right now I am not 100% confident in what I hip can do so I have used my creativity and I have created a bunch of circuit/boot camp workouts. I can still have the enjoyment of Cathe cardio, just not at one slam. Also, I think circuit/boot camp is actually harder because you're mixing weights with the cardio and you have to stop & go. I am enjoying my new style of workouts. I have to say, though, I use machines also. I have an elliptical and arc trainer at home (which cause no pain) and I also use the stepmill (a little pain) at my gym. If you would like some suggestions on cardio, just give me a shout out and I'll see what I can come up with. Take care :)
