Which of Cathe's DVDs would be the best to purchase for a 20-30 minute hiit workout. Nothing too high impact (poor ole joints can't take it).

If you also have any suggestions outside of Cathe workouts, I would be interested. Thanks.
 
ICE Low Impact Sweat has two HiiT workouts that get the job done! Plus it comes with a Blizzard Blast and an ab workout.

Amy Dixon's Breathless Body workouts are tabata style and are longer in length, but you can do as many tabatas as you can and they all have a low impact modifier.

All Out Low Impact HIIT from Xtrain (one of my all-time favorites) :D comes in at 39 minutes, but there are several pre-mixes that can get you into the 20-30 minute time frame. Also, the HIIT DVD from the shock cardio series has 3 HIIT workouts (30/30, 40/20, & Double Wave Pyramid) all at about 30 minutes. Double wave was my first Cathe workout & it totally hooked me. I re-visited this one last week:)

Just re-read your post & the Shock Cardio series probably isn't what you're looking for since they aren't low impact...but still great workouts!
 
I would also recommend ICE Low Impact Sweat and Afterburn. Afterburn has approx 30 min premixes and is all low/er impact. To The Max is very challenging and has a couple of lower impact premixes.
 
Oh and I ought to mention (non-Cathe) on youtube, Millionaire Hoy has loads of 'quiet' which means low/er impact HiiT workouts. He is very motivating. XFA Fitness is really good as well.

I really like both Toby Massenburg's Max 30 and Ignite workouts. Max 30 has two 30 minute workouts, one includes strength intervals with HIIT, and one is strictly cardio. They are fun and challenging. His ignite is 30 minutes of Hiit cardio, quite good.
Also, Mindy Mylrea's Intensity Overload gives you choices of 10 minute workouts you can combine.

I think the 30-ish minute HIIT/metabolic workouts include Cardio Supersets (Low impact series), All Out Low Impact HIIT (Xtrain), and also Ripped with HIIT Low Impact HIIT workouts (there are 2 on that DVD, both right at 30 minutes with warmup and cool down). You could also do Afterburn which has more weights. It is longer, but there are premixes that would take it down to 30 minutes. The HIIT workout with 30/30 and 40/20 and double wave pyramid is high impact, so does not sound like what you are looking for. To lessen the impact of that one, I do the double wave pyramid workout on the rebounder, though. I also do Tabatacise on the rebounder sometimes so it is not so hard on the joints. :)
 
My favorite youtube instructor. I've been doing her stuff for cardio. There are very effective metabolic workouts. I've also done her high impact stuff and its all great. Hope you like!



These are a few of her low impact hiit. I also like her high impact stuff. She really does some great metabolic workouts.
