High Step

Hi all

so....just how many workouts use the high step, I don't think I'm ready for it just yet, but I've been thinking about it since before X-mas last year, something I'd like to use, for sure. I have this idea I'd like to be able to do 4-DS by next Christmas, I've been pretty cautious about not pushing too hard and allowing some self some time to adjust to more cardio, heavier weights (& pushups:(), at times it seems like a snails pace, but I look back to just six months ago...I wasn't doing anything.

Sometimes things just stick in your head and doing some routines with the high step, having that kind of leg strength, well it's what I want to work up to.

My January goals are going pretty good, I thought maybe you guys could fill me in on what DVD's use the high step, and your favorites.:)

thanks
Linda

Hi Linda :)

The ones that pop in to my head right away are High Step Challenge and Lower Body Pyramid. There is also a high step training workout. I love them all :) High step challenge uses the step alot more than the pyramiid workout though. If you go onto the shop cathe website you can read the descriptions of each workout and get an idea of what exercises they do with the step. I really do love the high step. Outside of the high step workouts I also use the step for tricep bench dips, calf raises, etc. You should consider purchasing the high step as a value package so that you get a couple of the high step workouts with it!

Congrats on everything you have accomplished thus far! Nothing wrong with a snails pace in the right direction!!

Jenn!!

Hey Jenn

Thanks, that set with the three DVD's did catch my eye, truthfully I can probably use my regular step right now, but hey, by my birthday, maybe! I really have worked up from 15 minutes to 30, to 40, to 50 minute workouts over the last six months and now, twice a day somedays ( I added some cardio, I still get too winded) I don't think I ever had good endurance.

oh, I found I had forgotten about the compendium http://fitfig.com/tools/ it has a listing that shows the equipment used, quite a few it looks like, most would be too advanced, for me right now.

Thanks:)
Linda
