Hey everyone

I just received my High Step in the mail today and I'M SO HAPPY, I'M SO HAPPY.:p }(

Now I can do Legs & Glutes the proper way.

Haydee,

Mine is scheduled to be delivered today as well. I'm at work right now so I can't wait to get home and see if UPS was there yet.

I'm just like a little kid on Christmas morning. LOL

You can go the the Home Page and click on Track Your Order and see if it's been delivered. You're gonna love it, just like Haydee is now.

Well when I got home it was there. YES!!!!!!!! I wasn't able to workout tonight b/c we had company but I can't wait to use it tomorrow. (I did test it out though and did a few leg presses & tricep dips).

Don't ya just love it? I felt the same way when I got mine! It's sooo much easier doing L&G and the high step workouts...I was using the Novel Notion step (which I'm still keeping and may use from time to time also, lol)...the one thing I've noticed about the high step, though...when I'm doing tricep dips I HAVE to wear gloves; otherwise the rubber top HURTS my hands!

I LOVE that little topper!
I sit on it at 16" or 18".
I use it to put one foot on (at 14") when doing 1-arm lat rows).
I use it for step-ups at 10", 12" or 14" (or all three when I do the HSTA workout, 'cuz I like to vary movement patterns of my knee joint).
I use it for Firm workouts (because the inferior Fanny lifter is now a laptop table!)
I use it as a little platform for my front foot when doing lunges.
My cat's also like to perch on it when it's sitting on top of 10 risers (I have quite a few risers that I bought for my club step!) so they can be closer to my height

>Hi everyone
Well you all convinced me I need the high step. I also am using the fanny lifter with 2 risers. I will have to check out the price. I was just going to ask you Kathryn if you used all those risers but I see
you must. I was thinking wow--eee she uses 10 risers lol. I am 5'9".
Isn't it funny how we can spend a lot of money on this board for me it is all the motivation listening how everyone is getting in great shape with the different workouts and now the high step !! thanks I love it and no other healthier way to spend our hard earned money. I hope you all have a good night

}( :p :)

Deb :) :)

Hey Deb,
I ordered the topper and one riser through Fitness 1st. The price and shipping are reasonable. I just got mine last week. I was using a chair for leg presses and it started to get to my knees. I'm 5'8" and 5 risers work great for me.

Thanks Fab40

I will check out the websight after work tonight. My fanny lifter is 14 inches total but the high step looks much nicer and more stable.
I can add risers to the fanny lifter but it doesn't seem as sturdy.

I am off to work I have a nice long 9+ hour day at work. Have a great day today.

Deb:) :D

Good morning all,

When I left work yesterday, went to my Mom's house to pick up my package, I was smiling from ear}( to ear}( . My daughter said, "my goodness, look at you getting happy over a box", if only she knew. She works out with Denise Austin. I brought it home, went straight to the basement which is my gym, my dh was training someone. He said, "open your box", I said, "No" b/c I dare not share what was inside the box with anyone. Selfish of mex( , I know, but it's mine let them order their own.

I tried my High Step this morning...didn't do Leg & Glutes, I chose to workout with the dvd that came along with it--High Step Circuit. It was fairly easy, but different. Tomorrow, however, will definitely be Legs & Glutes. I'll let you all know if I survived.

Everyone have a great weekend.

Haydee

I started collecting risers when I was using my regular step to do step-ups (vertical leg presses)and then decided that I liked to do 1-arm rows with my knee and hand on the bench at 18", so all told, I have 14 risers (fushia, purple and lavender). I don't ever use them all at once any more, but maybe switching them around keeps them from wearing out (one can only rationalize!)

Hi Kathryn

I think I will be buying more risers also. I can't wait to be able to order the high step.I hope you have a good long weekend.

I am headed back to work.x(
