high step?

I have a regular reebok step and I am wondering if I need the high step. I don't have much space. Can I put some risers on top of my step or is that dangerous? I really didn't want to purchase one, but I am getting the body blast and I know Cathe uses it alot.
Thanks,
Lizzy

Hi Lizzy! Not sure I understand...can you NOT put risers UNDER your step instead of on top??? My long step (the Original Step) works great for a high step by just using extra risers.

Hi Lizzie, Debbie:

I have the Reebock Step also and it works just fine for me. The height is 6, 8 and 10 inches. I wouldn't suggest adding additional risers on the Reebock Step because it may become unstable. For leg presses I've been using my fanny lifter and i purchased the Rubbermaid Step Stool Tool Box - it supports up to 300 lbs, and you can store your weights inside for about $18.00. I believe Cathe mentioned this box in another thread. Personally, because of knee problems I don't go higher than 6 for step and 10 for leg presses, but then that's just me. Hope this helps.

Take care,

Iris

Lizzy,
It wouldn't work to put riser on top of the step, because "The Step" risers are hollow (they're like a open square) and the Reebok risers--I just can't imagine how they would fit up there and be stable. You've received a couple of good suggestions for alternatives to the high step.
