High Step unstable on carpet ?

Hi,

I just got my new High Step, YAY, very excited! :) But when I was testing it out it seemed to be unstable on my carpet like it was wobbly, did anyone else experience this ?
Maybe with the weight of the step and myself getting on and off of it it will smash in to place on the carpet, LOL.

Aila - I will have to try out when working out, I hope it gets better, that is weird mine was wobbly. My hubby even said that doesn't look very stable.

Laura, mine is fine on carpet too. Maybe your carpet is very thick? That's one reason that came to mind. Maybe one of the risers isn't sitting inside the others just right? Hope you find the answer.

Laura,
Maybe you should set it up on a hard surface, just to compare the stability. If it is unstable on the hard surface too, then there is likely something wrong with your High Step.
 
Mine has felt unstable when I did not have it postioned on the other risers correctly. When I fixed that it was very stable:)

Sometimes just turning the risers around the other way helps...you may have to experiment to get that "perfect fit".
