High STep Circuit question

Hello

I was just wondering about this workout. I need a highstep and noticed the package that includes this workout.

After seeing the video clip I noticed that she uses a resistant band alot, the workout says its inter/advanced.I consider myself a inter/advacned exerciser...but using the resistance band doesn't strick me as being inter/advanced? For those of you who own this workout, would you consider it inter/advanced? (boy thats a mouth full,LOL:+)

It looks pretty fun! I need a highstep as I will also order the pryamids dvd.

High Step Circuit is a beginer/interm. workout. It may be to easy for you.
HSTA (high step training advanced) is an advanced workout.
I would invest in the band- it gives you a great burn, and Cathe uses the band in her other workouts.

Good luck and enjoy!

High Step Circuit is actually a beginner/intermediate workout.

If I were you I would go for the High Step package which has High Step Challenge, High Step Training Advanced and High Step Circuit for $99.

I felt the same way at first when I heard Cathe was coming out with the Hardcore series and was going to use the bands. I didn't think the bands would provide much of a workout. Wow, was I wrong. Cathe definitely knows how to work your muscles with a band.

Hope that helps.

Thanks guys,

Wendy I thought about purchasing the 99$ package too!

Deanie, using the bands are a great burn-ive got some dyna bands and love them. Ive actually considered the gym style series as well because I see Cathe using the bands, but thats a whole other thread,LOL!

ok,Thanks agian!:)

I forgot to mention...Congrats on your weight loss. What a great accomplishment you should be so proud of yourself. Keep up the incredible work and you'll reach your goal in no time.

I just purchased my high step from walmart.com and it came with this dvd. I previewed it and it does look pretty easy. I wish now that I would have purchased the $99 package from Cathe, but with that said I did get a good deal on it with free shipping to store. Good luck and enjoy your new high step!

Thanks Wendy!!:) Still got some more weight to go...im just glad that i LOVE working out now! Thanks to Cathe;-)

paula,Ive also been shopping around at various department stores....Im not sure where I will end up buying the high step,if I do end up buying it here I could always sell the high step circuit if I don't like it!

I had originally ordered all three of Cathes Highstep series and ended up selling the Highstep circuit and Highstep challenge on Amazon. I liked them at first because I was returning to working out after a one year absence. However, I love the Highstep training advanced DVD. I couldn't finish it at first, but kept at it and over time I could do it all the way without stopping. It will whip you into shape and fast! I now rotate my Cathe workouts but the Highstep Advanced is still one of my favorites and always provides the challenge I need as an advanced exerciser. I would invest in it (and it uses no bands) and do what you can and keep trying to step it up because once you do, you will find the others not challenging enough in my opinion. You will need the high step (I use one I purchased from The Firm years ago) barbells and dumbbells for this workout.

Good luck!

I think ive made my mind up...Im going to order the three dvds and high step. I did a huge search and there really isn't a better deal!(im also ordering the pyramids,STP/SB and thinking about lowmax..I like to take advantage of the free shipping;-)).

Thanks for helping everybody! :)

I want to second Catherine's thought. I did a tough workout yesterday and today reached for HSC. It gave me just enough of a workout to feel good, but didn't kill me. While it is definitely not advanced, I used a little heavier weight and modified some of the abs to make it tougher, and I was sweaty when I finished! The cardio was definitely easy, but you can always modify. Again, enjoy your purchase!!
