High Step Challenge and Rubbermaid tool box

OK, odd question...Can you do the High Step videos and use the 12 inch high Rubbermaid Tool Box in place of the High Step? I always use my little tool box because I don't have a high step, and was just curious if that would work for these videos. Any advice from the educated crowd would be appreciated!! :)

I wouldn't do it nor would I recommend anyone else do it. Your tool box was designed to be a tool box and not an exercise anything.

The High Step (and even a different step/stool designed for exercise if that's what you can manage) is designed to be exercise equipment. It will be sturdier and much safer than a tool box.

I have on & used it

Long before they brought out the High Step for sale I got the same Rubbermaid Tool box & used it for a long time, but just for step ups & such. This was when I was using the Firm "Standing Legs" tape a lot.

First of all, thanks for all the feedback! I appreciate you all taking your time to answer my question. :)

Cakebaker, that's exactly what I use my step/tool box for--step ups. Have for 10 years now with no problems.

Amy--Good advice! I just didn't know what the step was used for exactly in the DVD and if the Rubbermaid box could sub for it. Thank you for your honest opinion, much appreciated!

Janie--That's great that I can just buy more risers! I didn't know if the short length of the high step was critical, or if I could just use my big step with more risers. Thank you for the feedback.
