i understand most of Tracey Staehle's steps now! except for the boxershuffle since she gives no explanation on how to do it. can anyone explain it to me?

laura

she is new. i am prob going to by another of her step in the future. the High Intensity step is tough and complex correography. i do think its worth buying.

For the shuffle,
Just think of the side to side shuffle you do when you kickbox. Now instead of doing it with your toes tapping the floor, turn to the side and tap the step. Remember you should always tap first, then hop and tap. So the sequence should be tap, hop-tap, turn-tap, hop-tap, tap-knee. It's kinda hard to explain except that you are really doing a shuffle with a turn in the middle, just on a step instead of the floor.

>thanks. always looking for something new and fun.

They are GREAT and her next round is going to be even better in my opnion. Check her out at www.fitbytracey.com. Her customer service is spot on and all her workouts are really, really good. My current favorite is her step workout! I can't wait to rotate Tracey's workouts with my new Cathe's...I'm beginning to sound like a broken record to myself...

If you're talking about what I think you are, it's called the "soccer drill". You have to be incredibly light on your feet and tap around the step with a knee lift at the end so that you end up facing the same way you started. If you don't like it, just substitute a regular three knee repeater. It's very high impact and REALLY gets your heart rate up. It's one of my favorite moves. I agree that Tracey's awesome. She's absolutely adorable and her moves are so much fun. Just like Cathe, but with her own style. She's a great new addition to my collection!

I just did this for the first time this morning - VERY FUN!! I really enjoyed it! The "soccer drill" that she does is the same as Amy Bento's "crazy shuffle", or at least they seem the same to me. If I hadn't already done Amy's workout, I think I would have really struggled with this as well.

yes, thats what i ment. now i know i can sub if i cant get it but i will keep trying. i think i'm going to start just learning the step and if there's time afterwards,do the intervals.

Laura,

Here is Amy's web site

http://www.nrgfitness.net/

You can search here, as there have been some discussions and reviews of her workouts. I have her advanced step and her step/pump from her first series. I really like them both - very fun and very challenging! I have preordered her next series of 3 workouts, which I think are supposed to ship in November.

I, too, think she is worth the money. And she shipped my DVDs out on a Friday and I got them the following Monday - and I didn't pay for express shipping or anythign! Also, as Angela said, her new series promises to be even better than the first. High Intensity Step Mix is soooooooooo fun! Having said that, I, too, struggle with the boxer's shuffle. Oh well. As Cathe says in Cardio Kicks, "If you got it the first time, you'd be bored."

Where are you all finding the details of her new series? I find her website so un-user friendly, it crashes on me all the time.

Thanks!

Clare
