hiccups

Do any of you get the hiccups? I've had the hiccups for about three weeks now and they are getting more constant. I did a search and found mostly information on fetal hiccups....but **I** have them. Do you know why?

Although I'm not pregnant, I've had the hiccups going on 4 years now.....everyday. But I only get one at a time. And it is loud. Sounds like a little dog. My doctors think it is related to acid reflux. I take meds now but if I have a lot of caffine or other acidic stuff it's even worse.
