Holy Pete! I've been so incredibly busy at work since I went to London and started a new project. I haven't had any surfing time and it's making me insane. This is like the 4th straight week.

Don't have any fun things to tell you. I could tell you that I was hit by a bat while skating the dogs yesterday morning (the flying kind, not the baseball kind), but that wouldn't be the truth. It would be funny....but I can't lie to ya'll. They only just came really close. The skating has been fun, but uneventful. *sigh*

Just wanted to pop on while my query is running to say "HI".



(how do you like that "Holy Pete"? I just picked that up from this Indian guy that I know at work. I thought it was really cute - just like him.)

By the by, my DH was hit by a bat one evening while he was out running. It slammed into his leg and knocked itself out. When he came running back in the opposite direction, it was gone, so we assume it was OK.

That's too funny about the bat. Poor thing! There were a lot of them out yesterday morning, so I was thinking I might get hit. But fortunately it didn't happen (or, depending on how you look at it - unfortunately. It would have provided a good story!)

I can tell you about how I got Cricket to pick up the pace a little. She's a very fast little dog, but she tends to lag behind. So this morning I crouched down really low - like in downhill skiing stance, to get speed. We were able to make eye contact, and that seemed to motivate her to go faster. But when I started singing "Somebody to Love" from Queen, she really got her little butt moving! Maybe she was trying to get ahead of me to trip me, so I'd stop my god-awful singing....

Cute Holy Pete guy is from India, but has been living abroad for a few years. He's 27 and has a very nicely fit physique. He's a super flirt, but nice when you get to know him. That's all I can say, because I'm a married old lady and he's just a young boy.
