Hi, been lurking mostly.....
So hows every one doing, I am maintaining.... I think I might get this new core dvd cathe is gonna make, sounds interesting.....
I just had to post to find out how my exercise buddies are coming along :7 .............. blessings Rhonda :7

Hey Rhonda -

I was wondering where everyone went. I invested in the High Step Advanced - which I love, and will probably get her new Hard Core series too. I am still working my legs every day, and am hoping I'll soon see the results you got while doing Freestyle.

Have a great holiday weekend.

Hi again.....
I like the results I have gotten from Freestyle and will continue with it, although I am upping my weights a little....
I am going to continue to use Freestyle for my lower body, but I will go heavier for upper body for strength, I don't want bulk, but I do want strength......
But I am glad to say, I am at the point now to where I don't have to be as hard on my self with my eating...... but I don't want to get stupid about it either, I want to keep what I have gotten.....
I love Diane Sues upper body, I think that is what I am going to work on...........
You or someone else asked a question a while back about how long to stay on one of the Freestyle rotations, I did it for 4 to 6 weeks, then I switched from legs to a glutes rotation, still a freestyle book rotation though......... Rhonda :7

and I am currently at my goal weight wearing a size 4 and those are just a bit loose...... I am 5'2" and 44 will turn 45 in Nov......

That is so awesome. You are right where I want to be. I know in the beginning you did a variation of the Freestyle workouts using Cathe, but then later you did the rotation from the book. Which method yielded greater size loss for you?

I have to figure out what I am doing wrong, because I am not losing weight and I'm working my tail off.

Thanks Rhonda!

Thanks for the link. Im wondering how that lower body solution book is also. Maybe someone else would know.

Rhonda,
I am flattered. I am still wanting to have a get together here in Oklahoma City Sometime. With the knee surgury and so many things going on here it has been hard to establish a wekend where it would be feasable. We have sooo many birthdays which means a lot of weekends have something going. We try and go camping whenever my husband is free in our fifth wheel. It has rained so much this month, I think this is our first weekend to get out. We decided no matter what, if it rains we are going anyway.
I have checked out freestyle training. I saw it in a magazine years ago and thought the women were awesome. I have done lots of lower body training, 3-4 workouts a week, but with all of the cardio I was doing I just did not develope much muscle. I hit a point and stayed there. I think it is great for the lower body though as it keeps it trim. I have not read the book through so do not know what it entails.

Hi Rhonda,

Believe it or not I started running a couple weeks abo. About 1.8 miles, 3 days a week (M,W,F). Hot here in Florida so I'm up and out about 5:30. I have to say, although I do not enjoy running, I'm enjoying watching the sun come up in the morning.

My upper body still looking good using Pyramids mostly. Also working out legs a couple days a week.

Freestyle did not work that well for me. Although my thighs looked muscular, they got bigger and I just couldn't have that.

Diane Sue's upper body is truly awesome!!! I'm very envious. I keep trying though:7

Hope this finds all of you Lower Body Buddies well. I'm extremely busy at work so I can only lurk when I find a second. I wanted to respond to this though:7

HI Ladies,

How is everyone doing? I am good. I have been doing 3-4 leg workouts in a week and doing lots of running. This seems to be what works for me right now.

Did you all pre order the Hardcore series? I ordered all of them!! I can't wait.

I think some of the freestyle/lower body ladies check at another fitness forum. Can't remember which one.

Have a great day Ladies!!!

Beverly
