Hi Everyone!!!

Hi, I just thought I would join. I have been reading the posts and feel like this is a friendly group.

Been trying to eat a clean healthy diet and make time for exercise. It has been difficult to stick to it. My enegry level has been extremely low. I as so out of shape that I have had to start with easier videos than Cathe's. I get winded easily when doing cardio and weights really fatigue my muscles greatly.

I have been battling with a vaccine reaction several years ago that left me with symptoms similar to Multiple sclerosis. I have not been diagnoised due to lack of disability and medical insurance. Some days it is so difficult to find the enegry to work and to even walk. I get so weak.

Been trying to build strength even though I have been told it is impossible by a physical therapist I saw years ago. I am determined to get stronger and not listen to them. I have setbacks when the symptoms are at their worst. I saw a post where the lady said cathe's program help her overcome her symptoms.

As a single parent, I can't afford to be sick. Have to keep a roof over our heads. I have no one to turn to if I can't reverse the symptoms. No family or friends. Been battling the bills trying to make ends meet. Well, that' life. Determined to make it.

Hopefully it will get easier.

Any hints or advice would be appreciated. :) :) :)

Welcome to the forums!! Your determination is impressive. I can not imagine battling what you are. I hope someone with similar issues will chime in. But at the very least I say do what you can when you can and with your determination, I think you will continue to improve. Mind set means a lot!!

Welcome, Rosepetals!

It sounds like you've been staying mentally strong despite some physical set backs.

Welcome Rosepetals!

You are an amazing woman already! Your strength, determination and positive mindset will serve you well. You'll find lots of help and support here.

Hi there Rosepetals !

Keep up your "Can Do" attitude because internal motivation is the best way to get what you want.

I think many of us have days when our bodies just don't have what it takes to exercise, and we aren't even battling anything physical. Keep doing as much as you can and eating right like you are doing and slowly you will be as healthy as you can be.

Know that you will always find support and motivation here in Catheland - that's why we all come here.

Best of times in the future to you and your children.

Come back and "play" soon !

Thank you everyone for welcoming me.

I have had to start out with old Richard Simmon tapes and some easier weight lifting videos. I have some yoga videos and just found a bellydancing, leslie sampson's walking video, and hula dance videos at the thrift store for about a dollar each.

I have some of Cathe's older videos.

When I was looking through a fitness catalog, I was impressed by how strong and healthy she looks. She has made dramatic improvements in her muscle tone.

She should be an excellent roll model at how fit one can be at her age (age unknown). That is why I choose to work up to doing her videos. I did order her new video set with 37 videos. It hasn't arrived, but it will be a while before I am up to doing them. I have to build up gradually.

I need to loose about fifty pounds or so. I can'w wait to get over feeling like I am huffing and puffing.

She is awesome! I think (don't quote me) she is 43. Great purchase you made.
