How did I miss that you all were meeting? Waaaah, I want to come! I am excited hearing that Cathe is filming her new series in her new place sooo a roadtrip should be right around the corner. What a time that will be for all of us who can come!!! Who all is coming to your get-together? Nanc~let me go to the Flylady site and see what I did. There is an option where you can have all the E-mails combined together so you aren't receiving sooo many different ones. I'll be baaaack! Give everyone a big hug from me!

I can't even imagine having to store someone elses stuff along with all my stuff! YIKES! That would depress me bigtime. Let me know if you get the books. Where do you get them cheap? Good Luck with getting started. Once you do, I think you'll be on a roll.

Thanks for the information. I am not into "out there" stuff at all. Maybe I'll look it up at the library again and take a glance before I would decide to buy it. I am almost certain I saw about three diff Feng Shui books while there. Thanks again. I'll let you know if I find it.

Hi Debbie - Congrats on your new home. I recently put in a new kitchen and was overwhelmed. Can't imagine building a home!

Yes, overwhelming it was! Funny how hard it can be just picking out a faucet fixture, grade of carpet, lighting fixture, colors and so forth. It was FUN at the same time though if that makes sense? The part that was a lil' intimidating is that once you make your choices and sign the final papers you can't change your mind on ANYTHING or you have to pay an additional $250.00 for EACH change, PLUS any cost diff of the change, sooo we had to be sure it was what we wanted. Say a prayer our picks will look good! :7 Thanks Mar, missed you all too.

I really enjoyed reading these post's!! Organizing has been a ongoing study for me for years ha ha ha.... I have bought ALL the books and read them ALL!!! Did the flylady, and that did'nt seem to last, did the 3x5 cards, and that did seem to last either. I have tried EVERYTHING with the best intentions, and it did not seem to work. To overwhelming!! Then one day I spent the day on the computer(I was on another organizing kick) and I found this site: http://gettingorganized.netfirms.com/ I thought this is very doable not to overwhelming, and that day I also found this article at the New Homemaker site "Carry your brain in your pocket" http://www.thenewhomemaker.com/node/79 and what can I say. It working!! I love my little pocket organizer. I went a head an put in my chores kind of like she did on the organizing site. It is like doing the 3x5 cards, but I am using my little pocket organizer instead. I even schedule in 5-15 minute decluttering, and my little organizer has a timer to let me know when my time is up.

Hi Debbie! Congrats on the "new home." It sure is fun redecorating. Is this new place larger to accommodate grandchildren staying over? Its good to have you back! Kathy:D

Jafitmama that's a great site!! Maria wrote a excellent book to! Lots of great ideas in it. You can sign up for her mailing list, and she will email a letter every month:)Also lots of good freezer recipe's on that site to.

Hey Debbie.....I was noticing a drastic drop in posts lately!!! Miss ya very much.

I WILL check out those clutter sites in the morning. I hate clutter, but what do you do with 6 kids that are at home 100% of the time. They have to read the book too!!!! Have you ever seen that commercial on TV where the guys sitting there in a completely empty kitchen eating cereal out of a white bowl and when he finishes he drops it in the garbage? My husband says he has this fear that he'll come home one day and find our home that way (except my workout room - I'll never toss anything in there!!). I go through these moods where I toss everything cause it's making me crazy!! And our poor children - when the mood comes over me - anything on the floor is in the garbage - boy do they scramble. There must be a better way to manage things so thanks a bunch for the links!! And have fun decorating that condo!!!

Kath~Exactly!!! We have TWO grandchildren now so we needed that EXTRA bedroom!

Judy~I will check the site out. I would think after "learning" all there is to learn about being organized, I should be good at this by the time I read all these helpful tips/websites. Thanks for sharing.

Nicole~My thoughts exactly...if I can get organized and de-cluttered NOW, it will be a cinch once we move in. I'll see. Hoping it works!

Briee~Go to the Sidetracked site and then, pick up their book "SidetrackedHomeExecutives". It has a system you use for your kids according to their age. (It is the 3X5 index card file system but age-appropriate.) Great ideas! You are too funny! I have de-cluttered just about all my rooms but do you think I've thrown away one thing in my workout room which is huge BTW?? NOPE, not a single thing. Oh, I take that back, I am getting rid of one of my stability balls. It's too small and I have three others! :7

Thanks everyone for the welcome back. I miss it greatly when I don't get here often. Wouldn't want someone else to take over as the" Queen of Posts"!
