For my workout today I decided to do the PLB stability ball floorwork before doing HIS step cardio. Usually I do all of my weights and toning after cardio. What I was wondering is will I see different results doing this? I'm really trying to tone up the hamstrings, glutes and adductors.

I love your workouts and appreciate any advice you could offer :)

Hi Chastity! I usually tell everyone to do the fitness activity that focuses on what they want to acheive first and the other fitness components after. So in your case, your ham/glute/adductor is your focus, so yes do PLB ball work first and then do your cardio. This way, you are freshest to give your all to what you really want to accomplish.

Also, if you do the same routine the same way, day in and day out, your progress and results will taper off. So yes, doing activities out of order will bring a renewed response too.

I was still feeling a bit of DOMS from doing B&G on Monday (that workout does it to me everytime) so that's why I switched things around today. I knew that if I did cardio first my legs would be too tired for the toning.

Now that I know better I'm going to continue doing this and see what results I have. Thanks again and Happy Holidays to you and your family :)
