I'm here...I'm here. I couldn't remember how long you were going to be out of town. My life has gotten quite busy with Open House and after school meetings. My workouts are going well. I am getting my hair cut really short tomorrow after faculty meeting(short for me anyhow). I continue to work on eating healthy and eating enough at shcool so I don't come home and raid the cuboards. I'm decluttering my house a little a time. I've discovered flylady.net and I'm loving it. It breaks these huge tasks into doable tasks and I already feel so much better about how much I'm getting accomplished. You wouldn't believe how much just 15 minutes a night in a room can make a HUGE difference so that by the end of the week you have a neat and organized room. It really doesn't all have to be done on Saturday or in one day...woo hoo!

Angela!! I am so glad you remebered me!!!! Two weeks I posted a thread to you and Randi, and neither of you replied. I was getting a little worried. It is unusual for both of you to be gone so long. I am glad that you are ok. Very glad. I went to Dallas and regained the 3.5 lbs. I had lost on the Core Plan thru WW's. I went back on Tuesday, the day after Labor Day. I have lost 2 lbs. of the 3.5 I gained back. My friend came though the day after I weighed in, and I have to say, I am really liking this Core Plan. I usually go way off the deep end at this time, and totally hog down, but knowing I do not have to count Points, and I can eat, as long as it is on the Core List, I am doing much better. My stomach growled all day today, and I just kept eating little things at a time, things I could eat, and I did not blow it. I ate more than usual, but it was ok things, not horrid, fattening junk. Knowing I could eat with out going over my Points, made me feel alot of relief.

I have been doing alot of everything, and I am really liking it. I got Power Half Hour from BeachBody, and I have been doing the Thigh Trimmer alot, I have been doing some Firms, some Slim Series, and some Cathe. I also have thrown in a little P90X here and there. I kinda like doing what I feel like, getting in a little of everything, instead of following a rotation. One day, I felt extremely bad, so instead of doing nothing, I did Firm, Vol 2. It is not hard, but it was better than nothing. If I am following a rotation, I think I have to do that workout, and I make myself miserable. So, I have really improved on eating and workouts. I think it is all in the freedom. I hope I continue with it!!!!!!

Angela.......Hopefully now that it is the weekend, you will have time to reply. I got BSS3 from Firm last night. I am going to try one of the cardio workouts this morning, along with Standing Legs. The cardio workout I previewed last night, and it does look tough. We will see, I am anxious to try it. I am also very curious about the new box.

We are going to go to a movie today, and to my neice's birthday party.

Tuesday is my weigh-in, I am anxious to see how well I did this week!!!!!!!

Angela.....How are you??? I hope you come back!!!! I see you at the Ya-Ya's too, please don't stone me, but I love that board too!!!! It is also my favorite. I gained a 1/2 of a lb. this week. I do not know how, but I did, so this week I am watching my portions way better. Hope school is going well.

I'm so sorry...somehow I missed these posts. I have been checking in here at Cathe, but spending a little more time at yaya's. I am not following a rotation this week either and I'm enjoying it. I've been looking for new workout shoes after school. That is not a fun task. I have figured out that for my high arches I need to look for shoes with cushioning and to avoid shoes that stabalize or provide motion control. The problem is I am trying to find shoes I see on the internet as having what I need but then they are hard to find in a store or what I find in a store is different then what I find on the internet and they aren't labled in the store as to what benefits they provide. I'm glad you are doing well with the Core plan. I am still going for the everything in moderation and some days I win and some days I lose. I got a compliment today. Someone asked how long I had been exercising b/c it looked like I had lost weight. She said this after she heard me discussing my workout regime with another teacher who asked me exactly how I worked out at home. She wasn't being sarcastic and it was nice to tell her about what I do and have her be interested.

I am going to see The Forgotten with girlfriends on Saturday. It looks really good and intense and I hope it lives up to my expectations!

We are having gorgeous weather here in S.C. Cool mornings and nights and warm afternoons although it is gradually warming back up as the week goes on.

Angela....I am glad you responded!!! I spend alot of time at Ya-Ya's too. I see you are a member of the 13 Week Hard Body Challenge. i see they are going to start up another one, I might join. Check in groups for me are a good thing.

I love my new Firm's. The BSS3 is really good. My legs have been so sore, I can't believe it. I don't know if it is the new box or what, but they are sore. I REALLY do like that series.

The weather here has been beautiful too!!! Yesterday it was so hot we had to turn on our air. This weekend it goes back down into the 70's, that will be nice.

Today is our anniversary. Dale and I have been married 9 years. WOW! It doesn't seem that long, I have a good husband.

Congratulations Lori! I hope you and Dale enjoy a nice celebration.

I would love for you to join our next check in. We are going to focus more on journaling our food intake and working on that aspect as most of us have the exercise thing down. I am going to commit to writing down what I eat for 5 days of the week...even if I screw up and have to post some horrible food intake. I also need to shake up my workouts with S&H I think. We'll see.

Hi, how are you??? I am good. We are going to go to Shipshewana today, to a Amish restaurant, the Essen Haus, for our anniversary. It should be good. I have been saving Points all week. It is kinda embarrasing how all these people on here laugh at The Firm now, and I am really getting into them. Cathe is so hard for me to do with my neck, it just causes me so much pain and discomfort. The 2 new cardio's from the Firm are tough, and I really like them. Today I am going to do PUB, and one of those cardio's. I still mix Cathe in my workouts, especially UB, but for lower, I have been using the Firm. I hate to say it, but my bottom half has been more sore the last 2 weeks than it has been in forever. I use my Power Half Hours alot too, those are very intense, and effective. I will do a 1/2 hour cardio, and a Power Half Hour. I mostly use the Thigh Trimmer, and the Buns one. I have been doing a little of everything I have, including my Slim Series. It seems to be working very well for me. I hope you have a great weekend. the weather here is awesome. You live in South Carolina, right??? My step son lives in North Carolina. The next time we go to his house, I am going to try to meet you!!!!!

Yes, I do live in South Carolina. It would be fun to meet you! Regarding exercise, I say do what you enjoy and what works for you. I'm sure there will be a time when I discover or begin enjoying other workouts besides Cathe. A lot of it has to do with how much one puts into the workout no matter who the instructor is. I have heard of people going from Cathe to the Firm also...you have to remember this is Cathe's board...tee hee...so more people here are going to do Cathe more than the Firm. If you are consitent, enjoying your workouts, and seeing results keep at it girl!

I hope to do upper and cardio today.
