Hi you two! How are you doing? My workouts have been going as scheduled. I doubled up today as I have family coming in tomorrow and I don't know if I will be able to squeeze any workouts in for a few days.

I preordered my Cathe's last night when we got back from fire works...all 10 plus the Hardcore Extreme....woo hoo! I could only afford one so in this case I'm glad I didn't break down and get Power 90X.

Well, I hope you are doing well. I have been doing really well on my rotation and sticking with my plan of doing no cardio on a weight day..unless I'm doing a circuit style of course.....I think my lifting is going better as result of this and I have more energy to give to my cardio sessions.

Hi Angela....Where are you Randi???? I was going to start the check-in also. I haven't had tons of computer time lately. We were on vacation last week, and gone, busy, relaxing, whatever. I finally worked out today after 2 weeks of no workouts. I can see a change in my figure already, and it is not a good one. I ate TERRIBLE the last 2 weeks, and whatever I had lost, I gained back, and then some. I am going to start a walking program. These cardio's Cathe offers are just too much for my neck and shoulders. I had another BAD migraine last week. I took 3 Immitrex and had to get my neck cracked by the chiropractor before it would go away. This jumping on my basement floor just is killing me. So, I am going to start walking outside and on my treadmill. I ordered all 10 of the woprkouts also, and the Extreme. I do not want Imax 3, but I will sell it on Ebay or something. I hope you both are having a happy fourth.

Hey Lori,
You will be back to your old self in no time. I get discouraged when I can't workout but it is amazing how our bodies/muscles remember and begin to respond again quickly to our exercise regime. I hope your migranes get better. I'm sure Imax 3 will be easily sold. It has been a great 4th. Last night I had family and friends over for a cookout and then we drove to the mall to see some big fire works. We just relaxed today and then went to the neighbors to see them shoot off fire crackers. Tomorrow, family arrive. We will be out and about with them this week. Have a great week!

Good Morning Ladies.....Got up at 6:30, and went for a 4 mile walk w/ my SIL. It was fun. I am going to do P90X Chest, shoulders, and Tri's later. Tomorrow will be Back and Biceps. I hope my muscles respond very quickly Angela, because this extra stomach I feel sitting on my lap is not good!!!!

I did not do my UB workout. I will tomorrow. I am trying to catch up on things at home like my floors, tub, stuff like that. I have gotten alot accomplished this week off. I will do the UB tomorrow.

Oh My......I did PUB today. It could of killed me. I haven't done any heavy lifting in 2 weeks. I am just going to rotate my P90X's w/ Cathe. I did AB Ripper today too. That two weeks off really hurt me. I hope I remember this next time!!!!!!!

I rested yesterday but I may get a workout in today. The family wants to go see Shrek 2 and I just saw it last week so I may stay back and get a workout in when they go to the movies. I will probably do BC or HSTA to get a little bit of cardio & weights. Our second day of blue skies and sunshine here in SC! It is so nice after the weeks of rain/thunderstorms. There is a 40% chance today...but right now it is gorgeous. If it wasn't so hot, I'd go for a jog....90's...whew! Have a terrific day!

Hi Guys....got my 4 mile walk in this morning. It is so nice to have it done and over and have the rest of the day to do as I wish!!!!! I am going to visit my friend who is camping at a lake. My Ub is sore from yesterday's workout. I love it!!!!!! I hope I don't fall off the wagon again for awhile. It is not good!! I am going to be at Rally in 3 weeks. There is no time for excercise, we walk alot to and from the hotel to the Convention Center, but that is it.

I really was having a big time problem switching to walking, feeling very wimpy because my body just can't handle all that high impact. But, if you look at alot of the health magazines, many of those poeple who really dropped weight, they all walk. Alot of the fitness start, they walk on treadmills. I figure as long as I do my weights 3-4 times a week, I will be ok!!!!!

My Ub is still sore, but it is such a good feeling. I am so glad to be working out, although I do not like the fat I feel right on the back of my behind, and my sides. That is always where it goes. I did my P90X Legs workout today, and he was running in place in the warm-up, and it jiggles at my sides. Sorry to gross you out, but it just collects there!!!!!!!!!!! And the worse part about it is, it's my OWN fault, I have no one to blame!!! Oh well, I hope after a week or two, things will be back to normal. I am going to do PUB tomorrow night again, and then on Sat. I will do the P90X leg workout again. I have walked 4 miles every day, and tomorrow morning will be my last morning. I am going to the surgeon today to talk to him about my mouth, gritting my teeth, and these migraines.

I will want to hear what your doctor says. I don't have long as the family is still here. Yesterday I did Boot Camp while they were still sleeping and today I did CTX Step & Intervals cardio only/CTX Power Circuit abs & stretch only. Walking is great exercise and is a way to shake things up. I may try to slowly build up to walking/running again. For intervals I could walk fast and then run to a certain distance. I don't know. It is so hot right now. Have a great day!

Hi guys! I've been so terrible about keeping up with our check-in. We went to court this week on a case I've been working on since I started my new job and after a really weird coincidence with the judge, wound up being adjourned for another month and a half. What a big letdown, lol!

My workouts have been going pretty well, I'll get four days in this week total, 2 upper, 2 lower and 3 cardio workouts. I've been eyeing Cathe's July rotation and I'm trying to figure out how to make it work with my gym workouts. We'll see!

Lori, I grind my teeth at night too. I had my dentist make a night guard for me and I have to pick it up. I don't get as many headaches as I used to but my mouth does ache all day long. Not fun. I hope that once you get the teeth grinding fixed that the migraines will go away too.

Angela, I don't run outside but I have been trying to increase my running/jogging time on the treadmill. I'll work on speed next.

Yesterday I dis HSTA/abs only from Cardio Hits. I upped the wieghts a bit. Today I plan on cardio/abs. Tomorrow I plan on PLB.

Good Afternoon Ladies.....I did SS, 2 sets today. that is a good workout. I really enjoyed it.


The dr. told me that it might not help my Migraines if I was to have this surgery. He said he can not gaurantee it. I have to find out if my insurance will pay for it first. I do have to also have some orthodonic work done, and my dental will not pay one penny for it. I think I am going to try to fight them. I have to find out about the medical insurance part first. Priority Health will only pay 50%, and I am NOT going to pay for $6,000 in orthodonics, and all the hospital expenses, and so forth. It is very sad what insurance has come to these days!

So sorry to hear this Lori. Good luck with the insurance companies. They just don't seem to come through when you really need them.

I'm sorry to hear about that too Lori. I hope you're able to find a solution that works for you - insurance companies seem to get away with being very unfair at times.

Today I did HSTA - what a great workout! It was so hard! I need to incorporate more Cathes into my schedule one way or the other. Yesterday I did lower at the gym and a 35 min. interval w/o on the treadmill; Friday I did upper, jumped rope for 30 min. and ran on the treadmill for 15.

Tomorrow I have an appt. with the trainer, I think it's my last, I'm not sure. We're going to do upper body.

Good Morning Laides, how are you?? Today I went for a 4 1/2 mile walk, with LOTS of hills, and I will do PUB. I got an email from EDiets, and they are feauturing Bill Phillips and his book "Eating For Life" and a plan. It is only $2.99 per week, so I signed up for it. I hope it helps me stay on track with my diet better. We will see.

Is your family still there Angela???

Are you going to keep going with the trainer Randi, or stop??

Hey guys!
I did PUB yesterday and really upped the weights. I started with my heaviest weight and kept it until I could do no more then I dropped down to the moderate weight then the lightest. I am perfectly sore in the upper body today...just enough to know it was worked out yesterday. Tonight I have an intense cardio session planned. I'm really trying to stick with keeping my weight training days and cardio days separated just to see how my muscles do.

Lori, let me know what you think of the Eating for Life plan on E-diets. How does he personalize it? Does he ask you what type of foods you like/dislike, how much time you have to prepare foods, etc.... I too received that e-mail and was tempted but for me I just need to decide I want to drop the weight and I just can't seem to get the willpower back. People who say they don't "diet"...to me they do b/c eating the way people who don't "diet" involves limiting or cutting out food I obviously want/crave and learning to eat food I don't like. It all comes down to making life changes and I'm finding that very difficult at this point. When I lost with WW people were so amazed at how thin I had gotten and were actually saying things like don't get too skinny and I wasn't even close to too skinny but I was hungry b/c I was not choosing the best foods. I just don't know. It gets a little depressing but then I realize losing that last 10 is not all there is in life but I sure would like to get it off! I know I can get the 10 off when I make up my mind but keeping it off is a whole other story. I wish I could just be like Aquajock who says to listen to your body and feed it what it wants....my body says...hey let's eat some M&M's....hey let's go out for ice cream....;( K.....I'm signing off....just a little frustrated in case you couldn't tell. Hi Ladies,

No workout for me today. My son was up at 4 A.M. this morning and I went into the office today. Anyway, yesterday I did chest, back and abs and jumped rope for 45 min. I was going to stop after 30 and run for 15 min. but the thought of the treadmill made want to keep jumping, lol.

Lori, I'm not sure if I'm going to keep up with the trainer. Probably not right now, but quite possibly in a few months or so to tweak my program. I've learned a lot from her but it's expensive so it's not practical right now. And of course, I want all the new Cathes :).

Angela, I'm so with you on the eating thing...I could have written most of your second paragraph. *Sigh* Not sure how it's all going to work out - I do just fine most of the time but the little "treats" are what derails me.

Anyway, tomorrow I'm planning on doing lower body, abs and cardio.

Hi Ladies.....I am not sure if I did the right thing or not by joining Ediets. But, I printed out the Agreement thingy, and they charge you for 13 weeks, but you can cancel after 4 and they will refund your money. For 4 weeks, it is only like $15. They did not ask many questions, about your food dislikes and likes. It did give you a few different options. You can print out a bunch of recipes. Some of them look good, and they are different than the ones in the book. So, that is nice. We will see how it goes. I am not that good at diets either. I also love WW's, but they just promote alot of the not-so-healthy foods, convience foods, and I find myself going to them alot. I did read on the Ya-Ya's board that they are coming out with another new program on Aug. 22nd. It is in the Nutrition section, you will have to look it up!! Take care.
