got a question for you..

You mentioned on a posting here that you bought a 6 by 8 interlocking mat from greatmats,com.

I was just looking at their stuff: are you talking about the 5/8 inch thick, dense foam 2 by 2 ft mats?

Are these the ones you have? Can you put your step on top of it and do your workout as per normal? Can you do hi/lo on it? Do you ever lose your footing and fall over? Is it stable?

This could be the answer to my body's prayers!!!

That's the one, Clare. It's very stable and I only wish I'd gotten it a little larger. I will also use a smaller version for weight training, that is, I use six of the twelve pieces or three for a mat. I step, do high low, have never gotten hung up on it and it absorbs so much impact! It's easy to stash and it has saved my knees!
