Hey Alli!

Cathlete
Any news yet???? Waiting to hear all about Katie! I haven't "seen" you around for a couple of days so I have a feeling Katie won't join your other two for a birthday on the 26th. Drop us a note when you can.

Still here, still pregnant

Well we are still here. I started having contractions every 8 minutes on Saturday evening around 6:30 for 3 hours. They stopped for about 40 minutes and then started up again but were really irregular. They balanced out at about 8 - 10 minutes apart for another 3 hours. At about 1:30 in the morning I thought I had better try getting some sleep. After about 7 hours of contractions, I was getting pretty tired. I did sleep through the night but didn't rest at all (if that makes sense). When I got up the contractions were 10 minutes apart. This lasted for 2 more hours. Then they just went nuts on me and were everywhere for the rest/night of the day. I'd have them anywhere from 4 minutes - 18 minutes apart. I've had a couple this morning but they're not regular at all. The strength of them is also all over the place. Some I can talk right through and some hurt quite a bit.

So I'm going to try to do a bunch of cleaning today. Maybe that'll kick things into gear. At least I know that by tomorrow, no matter what, I will have my little baby. Wouldn't it be great if I got to the hospital tomorrow and find out I'm in labor. I'd get to have Katie on the 26th without a c-section! I would love that :)

Y'all are so sweet. Thanks for thinking about me.

RE: Still here, still pregnant

Hi Alli! You're attitude and endurance is so inspiring. I wish you the best of luck tomorrow (even today, for that matter;-)!). I can't imagine the anticipation of KNOWING that you will be holding your baby in 24 hours. Big hugs to you and your precious angel when that big moment arrives. Cathe

Hang in there!!

Oh Alli, you're ssoooooooo close now, I bet you can *taste* it! :)

I hope things go smoothly for you--hopefully you won't need that C-section.

I am so jealous, I am 4 weeks away from my due date, and I am SO READY already for this baby to be born--I am really starting to get tired of being pregnant....she's starting to drop and my pelvic pain, which I've had since week 24, is getting even worse. I can't bear the thought of going 42 weeks so I just put that out of my mind for now! :)

Anyway sorry to butt in on "your" thread with my whining--I hope to hear a great birth story from you SOON!
