I am looking for some suggestions on workout programs to achieve the following:
1. Increase cardio ability. I quit smoking about 9 months ago
and have been trying to improve my lung capacity. I can run about 1 to 1.5 miles now but I get bored with that so I need other things to keep me motivated.
2. Lose weight - 8 pounds have found their way on to my back side that simply need to go!!!
3. Tone Muscle - I am slightly pear shaped so I would like to tone the lower half and really develop good upper body - I think that Cathe has great arms and shoulders and I would love to have those.
I am a beginner stepper - I love the workouts but honestly, I struggle with the foot work on the advanced step workouts. I will keep trying and if there are instructional videos I would buy them.
I am wondering about frequency of workouts (how often and for how long) as well as programs. I am active and I do workout, just not as consistently as I am now determined to do.
