I am new and want to buy Cathe DVDs. Seeing, Connie's pictures is such a inspiration and she and everyone is always helping others on the forum. . I want to purchase the pure strenth and power hour since Connie started with. Or any other advice. I am 5'3, weigh 132 lbs, work out 5-6 days a week with karen voight and cory everson. I need to loose about 5-10 lbs especially around my waist. I want to also have muscle definition. I am so overwhelmed what videos to buy and how to rotate the. Should I buy the beginner/intermediate or
I was also interested in CTX, timesave, intensity series. What orders should I buy these. Is ME and BC to hard to start with too?

Hi Paola,
I think you can do any of the weighted workouts. You may have to start with lower weights and work up. I agree, Connie has amazing defintion. She looks great. I also started with Pure strength Legs and abs for my 1st Cathe strength workout. It is really a great workout. I used the upper body segments of BodyMax for upper body. I got a lot of my weight training at the start from The Firm Classics. I tend to use the DVD Premixes more than the whole vids now. I love the Push pull 3 sets premix and super sets blast premix. Also Pyramids is really good. Actually they are all good and it is so hard to recomend specific ones. I would just go for one that is endurance related and one that is strength related. Maybe you might want to add in a circuit one as well.

Thank you for your response. I will definitely buy pure strengh. You look great too. What is the difference between the endurance and stregnth videos, is one better to start with? Does one have more muscle definition or cardio benefit? Do you have a rotation you follow as cardio 2-3x week, endurace 2x week or strengh.

Endurance works different muscle fibers than strength workouts. Both influence how you look. I tend to lean more towards strength and throw in endurance workouts for a couple of weeks here and there as I want the benefits of both. Strength workouts build more mass. I do 5-6 days of cardio. Usually around 30-45 min. ea.at this time, 2 times a week upper and 2 times lower on strength training regimes. Otherwise on endurance it is usually 3 days a week upper and lower. I vary things a lot so I do not get to used to it. If you are new I do not think you need to vary as much. That is just my opinion as I am not an expert on this. Maybe someone else can offer some advice as well.
