help w/ choosing the right rotation

Hi,
I was hoping to get some feedback on what is the best rotation for weight loss while keeping/building strength. Should I do a fat loss, strength, or wieght loss (such as Jan 06 Let's Work)? I'm unsure of what my body will respond better to, less cardio/more weights or less weights/heavy cardio.
Any suggestions or personal experience would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,

You need to do both cardio and weights if your goal is to lose weight and maintain muscle. The cardio needs to be intense and pretty short. I don't know what workouts you have, but Drill Max Cardio Blast premix or Boot Camp Cardio only premix are good choices. Also add in a longer, less intense cardio workout once a week.

For the weights, I would suggest a total body workout 2X a week.

Cut back on calories and make sure you get plenty of protein to maintain your muscle.

All the best

Thanks for that info. I was debating on starting either the '05 or '06 weight loss rotations. '05 is a basic one but '06 is the Let's Get Ready to Work! and has 90 min w/o each day, 6 days a week. I've done this one before and saw good results but the thought of doing it again makes me tired just thinging of itx( . Has anyone done the '05 weight loss rotation and if so did you see results?

I have never done any of these rotations but I know I have a similiar question just like you as to what rotation is best for weightloss while maintaining muscle. Can you post these rotations so that I can save it? I am going to start with the Beginner rotation as this is my first time doing Cathe and then I want to progress to a rotation that concentrates on losing body fat. Thanks...

Oh...what was t like to do the 90 min w/o 6 days a week...I am like you, makes me tired thinking about it but I am so motivated to get the weight off I would do it....as a matter of fact I would love to try it sometime in 08.
