Help W/Calories Burned Configuration

Does anybody happen to know the approximately caloric configuration for most of Cathe's tapes? I don't know if there is a thread out there or not with this information. I just started using CalorieKing.com, and since I'm planning to use mainly Cathe tapes for my workouts, I was curious as to the calorie expenditure count.

Any info would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks!

Hi Katrid,
I don't have a clue! But there is a thread from months ago on heart rate monitors, and in that thread a few people posted calories burned for certain Cathe cardios. But remember, any figures you get are not going to be 100% accurate as we are all different. I burn a certain # based on my weight and intensity put into the workout, and doing the same workout, you'd burn a different # based on your weight/intensity of workout, etc. So any figure is a + or - thing.
If you really want to chart your calories burned, you might want to consider investing in a heart rate monitor. Depending on how much info you want, they can range from $70.-$200., but I think you could probably find one that just gives basic info for $70.-$100.

Hi Katrid! I'm not sure exactly what the calorie output is on Cathe's tapes is...but there is a helpful website that was recommended to me that may steer you in the right direction (for approximate numbers anyway):

http://caloriesperhour.com

Hope this helps

This is an interesting website. I know it's just an approximation, but according to their calculation, I burn nearly 150 more calories by doing a 60 minute workout (546) instead of only working for 45 minutes (408).

This is my inspiration to keep going when I start to feel tired - right after Cathe takes the heart rate test and then comes back for the final section in some of the earlier tapes like Step Max, Step Jam, Power Step, Step Fit.....
