I have a few questions regarding rotations. I just started a split routine that has me doing CST on Monday, Legs on Wednesday and BB on Friday. I am using heavy weights and sets of 12/10/8 for most of the exercises. This particular rotation has you changing the reps and order of the exercises weekly. Like you are doing three sets of decline bench and three sets of dumbbell bench and the following it changes to something like three sets of incline bench and three sets of barbell bench.
Is this too much change and confusion?? Will muscles still reap benefits even with the reps and order changing every week? How can you progress on the amount of weight if the exercises constantly changes? Obviously I am uncomfortable with so much change but my husband likes all the variety. We need to do the same routine since we workout at the same time and spot each other. We are limited in our time at the gym.
I'd really appreciate your opinion on this type of rotation. I suppose the best advice will be to stick with it for a few weeks and see how my body responds. Did I just answer my own question?? Hee-hee.
