Help me decide.....

I am trying to dedcide between purchasing SS/PP or PH/MIS/BM. I have read a lot of conflicting posts about SS/PP, but haven't found as much about the PH DVD. I really like ME and want to do endurance type work outs in my rotation for a while after I finish STS, so I am not looking for a 3 day split. I am also planning to purchase BM2, DM and HSC, but just can't decide on a total body weight work out. I think the only thing that is holding me back on PH/MIS is that it is an older DVD....and I am concerned that SS/PP won't really work my muscles to exhaustion....opinions please!

If you are looking for something more along the lines of ME, then I would definitely go with PH/MIS/BM. PH is a total body workout that definitely leaves me feeling worked out. I also like MIS/BM although they do have a more dated look to them than PH does.

SS is a circuit done using a stability ball for many exercises and PP alternates between opposing muscle groups (which I like very much). I usually go heavier than Cathe on most of the exercises in these. They are shorter workouts that I usually add in when I want to hit all the muscle groups one more time that week, without wearing myself out.

Also, I don't know how you feel about including abs in your workout, but SS has 1 ab move in each of its 4 circuits, PP does not include abs. PH/MIS/BM each have their own ab portion in the workout.

I agree with Lori Ann about PH/MIS/BM being better. I love the endurance workouts on this one and a great cardio workout with Bodymax. I have SS/PP and use the premixes more than the original workouts. But when I am looking for endurance I have used PH/MIS/BM much more often as even older does not mean it is not still effective...:)

I too agree that PH/MIS/BM workouts are better. Some of Cathe's older workouts like BM1 and MIS (and MIC) are among my favorites.

thank you all for your responses. And I agree with you morningstar, I tend to want to just buy them all! I am sure I will eventually! I think I am going to go with PH, MIS, BM. I have wanted to try this one for a while, and I think it is what I am looking for. Thanks for your input!
