Help me decide what to buy!

I'm definitely preordering all 4, but I need help deciding what else to buy. I have all the Hardcores, the Basic Step/Body Fusion set (all 3), Rhythmic Step DVD, Classics DVD and Slow & Heavy. I really want all of the Intensities and Body Blasts, but I think DH would flip if I bought everything at once. I'm think about just getting the BodyMax DVD so I can prepare for BodyMax 2. Any advice?

That's really a tough one! The Intensity Series is great and the Body Blast Series has has a huge amount of premixes to keep the workouts interesting. I also love the Bodymax DVD!...I do think though if you got either of the other series they would help get you ready for Bodymax2...:)...Carole

I got the Body Blast series about 2 days before the preorder announcement!!! :( I asked DH to get me the Total Stretch since I don't have Stretch Max. LOL, I also asked him to get me Core Max, but I'm not holding my breath. I asked him to do the preorder as a Christmas gift for me, since I had just gotten the Body Blasts.

I really like KPC. I did the whole thing today for the first time. You'll love the series.

Hmm. I don't think I helped at all! But I think if we put our collections together we'd come close to a complete set! :D

I say get the Intensity Series also. Great workouts and they will definitely get you ready for the new series. Oh, and I'd say the Body Blast series is a close second-maybe that one could be a Christmas gift:)

Good luck,

well.....i guess he isnt too keen on flipping!!! buy em all and it will be the last time he flips!! get it over with}( }( }( i would have a hard time choosing between the intensites and BB's

I think it's a really tough call, but I'd get the Intensities first and then BB. But buying them all isn't a bad idea! :)

I think, though, if I could only have one DVD and not the whole series right now, I'd get the KPC/LG DVD. It is really fun, and you really only save $5 to get the BB set at once.

Or, maybe the Pyramids. Ooh and Imax 2 is great. And I enjoyed PP/Supersets....

LOL, I keep posting in your thread to help you out, and it never works!!! So sorry.

What if you bought the Terminator DVD so you have a compilation of the Body Blast DVDS? Then you'd have a taste of that series.

Oops! I mean it's a compilation of the Intensity series! Sheesh! So many series that I get them mixed up . . .

I also agree with the Intensity Series. It's just great all around! If you wanted, you could leave out one DVD of the Intensities and get the DVD with BodyMax on it... I would do without..... Well, I wouldn't want to do without any, but it's an idea anyway :D

Regardless of your decision, you really can't do wrong. They're all great!

Sara

I couldn't decide which one over the other so I got both at the same time, it was during the hardcore presale. I love both series!! After that I went really crazy and got the 27 bundle of DVD's to replace all my VHS. I have not regretted any of my purchases.
DH never says a word, and I am sure he notices.

Fitnancy,
Whatever decision you make...it won't be wrong. Eventually, you will get them all.. like I did. BodyMax is one of my absolute favorite workouts of all time ,but due to time constraints (it is rather long) it can be hard to fit into a regular fitness schedule easily on a regular basis. Both the Intensities and Body Blast Series are equally great in their own unique way so you can't go wrong whichever you choose so just pick which really suits you right now based on the descriptions. I honestly use them both equally.

Robin:)

Hi There,

I would suggest getting the Kick, Punch, and Crunch//Legs & Glutes DVD for sure (I only have Kick, Punch, and Crucnch on VHS, and it is one of my alltime favorite cardio videos of Cathes. I like it so much more than Kickmax b/c it really works you hard the whole time, it targets the waist and legs. I don't have Legs & Glutes yet, but everyone says in their posts that the DVD of the two of them has AWESOME premixes).

Then, if I had to choose one other, I'd go with either the Pyramids or Boot Camp with Muscle Endurance. You can't go wrong with either. The reason I didn't pick IMAX2/Cardo & Weights is that, although they both have the fun factor, after Hardcore they just don't seem as tough anymore. But they are fun!

BodyMax is a great workout, but as someone said, it is long, and the music is real old--I definitely enjoy Bootcamp and Upper Body Pyramid more.

Good Luck!!

Melissa

Thanks for all the advice! I'm going to spend some time looking at my budget, and if I can do it, I'll get the whole Intensity set. If I can only get one DVD, I'll probably go for KPC/Legs & Glutes, since there's less of a price break for buying the Body Blasts as a set than there is for the Intensities. If only I had an unlimited budget!
