help for nephew

For those of you who would like to help . . .

My 23 year old nephew Jacob has been in Bahgdad since August. He called my brother last week to let them know that while he was driving he hit a roadside bomb and had had his left lower leg injured extensively. (My brother was very happy to hear Jacob's voice instead of a fellow officer - please thank God for sparing his life).

What is happening now is that after he was sent to Germany to be stabilized he was sent home stateside to the East and has been moved between a few military hospitals so far. Still no word on whether they can reconstruct his ankle, which seems to be missing it's "structure", or whether they will be amputating.

My request is that you pray for he and his family. He has a wife, a 4 yr old son, a 1 1/2 yr old son and another son on the way who is due in mid-February.

I am so glad he is still with us! I will be praying for him. My brother is 21 and his is in the airforce. Right now he is in Saudi Arabia he is suppose to come home next month. Please pray that he doesnt have to stay longer This war is out of control I am so d**m sick of it!!!!!!!!
