Hi, Cathe!
I'm currently doing this workout:
Monday: Upper Body Pyramid.
Tuesday: Pedal Power.
Wednesday: Lower Body Pyramid.
Thursday: Pedal Power.
Friday: Pyramid Upper Body.
Saturday: Pedal Power.
I start next week with the Pyramid Lower Body, as follows:
Monday: Pyramid Lower Body.
Tuesday: Pedal Power.
Wednesday: Pyramid Upper Body.
Thursday: Pedal Power.
Friday: Lower Body Pyramid.
Saturday: Pedal Power.
I do this workout for 8 weeks and I take a week to rest after 8 weeks of training to perform other activities not related to physical activity and rest my mind and muscles. I got great results doing this type of training, but I want to change my training and I need your opinion, which is very important to me.
I plan on doing the following scheme:
Monday: XTrain Chest, Back & Shoulders.
Tuesday: Pedal Power.
Wednesday: XTrain Bi's & Tri's
Thursday: XTrain Ride.
Friday: Lower Body Pyramid.
Saturday: Cycle Max Workout.
And, in the next week, repeat this sequence for 8 weeks and after 8 weeks i will do one week rest, to perform other activities not related to the physical training.
In this training I didn't change the Pyramid Lower Body, because I prefer to emphasize exercises with weight training in my legs, I do not like to workout without weights for leg. I watched a leg workout videos of Xtrain collection and they emphasize training without weights, then decided not to use them in this training scheme.
I prefer doing aerobic workout on a separate day from training with weights so that I do not get too tired or exhausted in my other daily activities.
My objective is to gain lean muscle mass and lose fat.
My doubts are:
Is this training that I'm planning to conduct will give results even training each muscle once a week?
The sequence of training is correct, there is some kind of sequence best to optimize results? Interleave the weight training with aerobic training, is it correct this type of training?
The time interval between biceps training session and another biceps training session is not too long?
Thanks for attention!
William.
P.S: I hope to have written correctly, because my English is not better than my Portuguese.
