Help feed people and animals with just a click a day

The "animal lovers" thread reminded me of this.
Here are two sites you can put on your favorites, and each day that you click, food is donated to either people (The Hunger Site)or animals in shelters (the Animal Rescue site):

Thanks for the info. My youngest DD (only 7) just ripped an ad out of the NY Times for saving the seals by boycotting Canadian seafood. Now I can show her there's something proactive we can do to help the animals! Also, she was alarmed with the horrible photo on the front page of the newspaper showing poor kids in Angola playing in heaps of sewage and garbage (she saw me reading it), so the hunger site is ideal to show her, too.

What great sites! Thank you for sharing these. I'm always on the lookout for helping others and animals. Speaking of saving the seals - on the humane society website you can buy stamps with the baby seals on it to also help against slaughtering. I just ran out and now bought some to help Amber Alert. They have so many different ways to help. Great thread, Kathryn.
