Help Choosing Circuit

Please tell me a very tough circuit workout of Cathe's. I am an advanced exerciser and need some ideas for tonight's workout. I did the Gauntlet last week and it's tough, but want something that tough or tougher (would like to try something else). How's the Body Max 2 Bootcamp? Please give me some ideas to really get an excellent circuit workout for tonight, I have most of her DVDs. What are your favorites?

Thanks a ton!!!!!

If you have the time, I love to "double" circuits up, for example, HSTA and HSC, I would do the w/u from HSC (cause I like the music :) ) and then cycle 1 cardio, then HSTA cycle 1 cardio, then legs, then legs, then upper body/upper body. You get the picture. This one clocks in around 90 min. and ups the challenge of both quite nicely.

I've done the same with DM and HSTA and, DM/HSC, BC and DM, etc.

I usually do these on weekends, but if you're really looking for a challenge }(

THanks for the ideas! Keep them coming! and thoughts on BM2 Bootcamp would be great, too!

Shelly, good idea with BC 2x - I did BC twice on my Aug 05 rotation, but I'm looking to stay @ 1 - 1.5 hours tonight.

Lots of good ideas, thanks again! @ 3.5 hours until I start something

:)

Hi Laura,

Yeah! I did this rotation in Jan of this year and it is incredible! The endurance I gained was great!!

I decided to go a little lighter on weights in a circuit tonight and tried Imax Extreme, since I haven't done that, pretty good workout - definitely fun. Last night I did Aquajock's 15-15-15-15 mish mosh (BM circuits only FF weights, HSTA cardio only premix plus add one more of them, Low Max 2 and 7, KPC High Intensity drills and Circuit Max cardio 1 and 2.....then I added on Tracey's HISM Intervals only, so my shins were hurting a little). Planning on Muscle Max in the morning tomorrow, should help make up for the lack of weights in tonight's workout, but boy it was fun!

I am definitely jotting down everyone's ideas for my circuit workouts over the next few weeks! Mish Moshes are great!

Thanks again all!
Jane

Sure, it's from Aquajock -- I have placed it below (from Sept time frame). I love it! I added Tracey's HISM intervals to the end of this last night --

"Hi, Gang! Here is a mish-mosh for those who love the 10-10-10 concept in . . . , well, "10-10-10" in CTX, as well as the salad of cardio styles in Circuit Max.

Interval Max (the original) OR Rhythmic Step warm-up; then

Body Max power circuit segment OMITTING RESISTANCE CYCLES, simply by chapter-skipping or "nexting" to the next cardio cycle with your remote; OR

HSTA cardio only premix, REPEATING ONE CARDIO CYCLE of choice; THEN

Low Max step and blast #'s 2 and 7 (delish step-kickbox); THEN

KPC High Intensity Drills (select this named chapter from the Chapter Menu); THEN

Circuit Max hi/lo cardio cycles (#1 and #2), starting after the warm-up and the medium impact post-warm-up stuff; OR (here's the genius part)

Dial back to the first DVD (Interval Max etc.), select MIC and fast-forward to 18:35 minutes into the MIC workout; this takes you to the nosebleed high impact stuff.

See how that works? High-octane step (including the warm-up), step kickbox, floor kickbox and hi/lo, in an extended format.

Enjoy!

HTH! Have fun with it!

awesome! it looks fun and challenging. this is perfect because it does not have too much step which i cannot do right now-injured foot. i like mishmosh because it keeps me away from boredom.

thanks a bunch
